Patents Assigned to Anderson Brass Company
  • Patent number: 11585077
Abstract: A vacuum breaker valve assembly includes valve body defining a hollow main chamber, which communicates with a plenum opening, an inlet opening, and an outlet opening. A valve cap is attached to the valve body and defines a plenum, which communicates with the plenum opening, and a vent opening communicating with atmosphere. A drainage plug is connected to the vent opening, and an overflow conduit defines an elongated flexible hollow tube having one end connected to the drainage plug. A cap fixture is connected to the valve cap and defines a countersunk shallow recess that receives therein a thin label that is adhesively attached to the cap fixture.

  • Patent number: 11549612
Abstract: A docking fixture for removal of a valve core from a valve fitting of a pressurized system includes a main body defining a hollow main channel that receives a gripping probe to remove the core of a charging valve that is part of a pressurized HVAC system. The docking fixture has a proximal end that can be connected to the HVAC fitting that houses the valve core that is to be removed and replaced. The docking fixture has a side port integrated with a slide valve that can be closed to isolate and protect a sensitive vacuum pressure gauge that might be connected to the free end the fixture's side port. The slide valve includes a sleeve and a tactile feedback mechanism that is configured to provide tactile sensation when the sleeve is positioned in one of the open position and the closed position of the slide valve.

  • Patent number: 7013910
Abstract: A back flow preventer is provided that is made of at least two different materials. The back flow preventer includes a housing that has a passageway configured for the transport of a fluid therethrough. The housing has both an inlet and an outlet that define at least a portion of the passageway. The inlet is made of a different material than the outlet. A first and second check valve are disposed in the passageway. Both of the check valves allow fluid to flow through the passageway in the direction from the inlet to the outlet of the housing.

  • Patent number: 3976096
Abstract: A relief/check valve wherein a relief valve element is displaced to open the valve when the inlet pressure exceeds the outlet pressure by a predetermined relief pressure. The relief valve element carries an elastomeric check valve element which permits reverse flow when the outlet pressure exceeds the inlet pressure. The invention is applicable to fuel tank vent valves and fuel line anti-siphon valves.
