  • Patent number: 10046978
Abstract: The subject of the present invention is a method for processing metallized packaging materials, especially beverage cartons, or blister packaging. According to the invention, the aluminum is dissolved with the aid of acid and separated from the plastic. The metal-containing acid solution then undergoes pyrohydrolytic treatment and the acid is thus recovered. The aluminum can be recovered as valuable aluminum oxide.

  • Patent number: 9856603
Abstract: A method for producing a fibrous pulp web, in which a fibrous pulp suspension is dewatered in a Twin Wire Former to form a fibrous pulp web which is dried with a TAD dryer. A pre-dewatering device with a hood and suction roll is provided after the Twin Wire Former and before the TAD dryer. The fibrous pulp web is guided through the pre-dewatering device between exactly two machine cloths. The machine cloth between suction roll and the web is a porous felt, and the machine cloth between web and hood is a structured wire. A volume flux of hot drying fluid greater than 100 m3/(m2·min), preferably greater than 250 m3/(m2·min,) is drawn through the fibrous pulp web into the suction roll.

  • Patent number: 9833732
Abstract: The invention relates to a filter for continuous filtration of a suspension under pressure, with a pressure vessel (1), rotating filter elements (2) disposed in the pressure vessel (1), where the filter element (2) passes through one filter cycle for each rotation, with filter zones in liquid and gaseous phase, also with filtrate channels (4?) that are connected between the filter elements (2) and separate filtrate outlets (14, 14?, 215) for each filter zone, as well as a device to control the individual filtrate zones by means of a control disc (44), where the control disc (44) has filtrate outlets (114, 115) for liquid and gaseous phase. It is primarily characterized in that a venting zone (46) is provided before the filtrate outlet of the liquid phase, viewed in the direction of the filter cycle. Thus, the compressed air in the filter elements (2) and filtrate channels (4?) can be carried off and pressure-relieved in a favorable manner.

  • Patent number: 9784275
Abstract: The invention relates to a centrifugal pump for conveying a gaseous suspension, in particular a fiber pulp suspension, which has a pump impeller (12) with at least one opening (15) in the base plate and ribs (16) on the rear side, where a separator unit (17) is provided consisting of a separator housing (25) with a stationary disc (18) and a disc (22) that rotates together with the pump shaft (21), where the separator unit (17) is arranged in the pump housing adjoining the pump impeller (12) on its rear side when viewing the pump impeller (12) in axial direction and where the separator housing (25) has a gas collecting chamber (31) with a gas discharge pipe (28). It is characterized by the disc (22) that rotates together with the pump shaft (21) having a closed surface (23) without openings. As a result, pulp losses are reduced and the centrifugal pump achieves better stability when pumping a gaseous suspension, particularly a fiber pulp suspension.

  • Patent number: 9394091
Abstract: A method for fastening wrapping sheets made of paper or cellulose in pulp-bale packaging, wherein a pulp bale is wrapped using a single-piece or two-part wrapping sheet made of paper or using a lower sheet and upper sheet made of cellulose. The method is characterized in that, at the location of overlap of the two paper or cellulose sheets, or at the end fold of the wrapping sheets made of cellulose or paper, one or more clip(s), including a decomposable material, not leaving behind any harmful components, as bale processing continues, is introduced into the bale. This makes it possible to avoid a costly binding machine or paper-strapping machine, and does away with the outlay required for disposing of the wire by the end user. A fastening device which includes a decomposable material which does not leave behind any harmful components, as bale processing continues is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9199754
Abstract: An accumulator device (1) for the tying wire of a tying machine used in pulp production has a drive (3) at the inlet to the accumulator device and another drive (7) at the outlet from the accumulator device. By means of the accumulator device (1) according to the invention and the two drives (3, 7), it is possible to store the entire length of wire required for one tying cycle temporarily and then to remove the wire from the accumulator for the tying cycle. In this way, a dynamic accumulator volume is created for the tying wire in the accumulator device (1).

  • Patent number: 9139449
Abstract: A method for obtaining gypsum using a flue-gas desulfurization system (FGD) having a gypsum suspension, which includes fine materials such as active carbon particles or residual carbonate particles for example, accumulates in the scrubber of a wet flue gas scrubber. The gypsum-containing suspension is thickened by at least one hydrocyclone, and the thickened gypsum suspension is discharged via the underflow of the hydrocyclone. Water is fed to the hydrocyclone in addition to the gypsum suspension via a dedicated feed line such that the content of fine material is thus reduced with respect to the suspension volume in the underflow.
