    Abstract: There is provided a gas supply socket which can ensure sealing between an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder even when the inner cylinder, inclined with respect to the outer cylinder, is placed in the outer cylinder. The gas supply socket 10 includes an outer cylinder 11, an inner cylinder 12, a movable body 20 disposed within the outer cylinder 11, and a valve body 18 and a valve seat portion 19 provided within the inner cylinder 12. An intermediate cylinder 13 is provided between the outer cylinder 11 and the inner cylinder 12. When the inner cylinder 12, inclined with respect to the outer cylinder 11, is placed in the outer cylinder 11, the inner cylinder 12 and the intermediate cylinder 13 tilt with respect to the outer cylinder 11.

The stabilization electrode has an electric potential identical to an electric potential of the liquid sprayer, and is disposed near the nozzle such that a jet portion formed at a front of the nozzle by a linear extension of the liquid has a length longer than a length of the jet portion before the stabilization electrode is provided.

The intermediate groove is in communication with the outer and inner peripheral wrap grooves. The seal member is fitted in the wrap groove except the outer and inner wrap grooves.

    Abstract: A seal groove is cut in the distal end face of a wrap of a fixed scroll, with a tip seal being fitted in the seal groove. Swelling members are interposed between both side faces of the tip seal and corresponding opposite side faces of the wrap. Condensed liquid of working medium w and water condensed from steam contained in the working medium w that are present between the tip seal and an end plate provide a sealing effect. When the swelling members swell upon absorbing the condensed liquids, they exert a strong pressing force on the tip seal and the wrap, thereby firmly retaining the tip seal in position. This prevents the tip seal from being pressed against the end plate, so that wear of the tip seal is reduced.
