Abstract: A breast milk pump includes a breast interface member which has an inner cavity through which milk can flow, and a negative pressure assembly in fluid communication with one side of a diaphragm. An opposite side of the diaphragm is in fluid communication with the inner cavity. The diaphragm separates the inner cavity from the negative pressure assembly. A suckling assembly includes a tongue member and an actuator coupled to the tongue member for causing movement of the tongue member. A tongue position adjustment assembly is coupled to the suckling assembly and operative to cause displacement of the suckling assembly with respect to an inner surface of the inner cavity.
