  • Patent number: 10565240
Abstract: A system and method dynamically analyzes documents to determine the relevancy of a document relatively quickly and efficiently. Potentially relevant documents can be determined using a search string and then converted into corresponding document data structures for analysis. Keywords can be used to identify documents of interest from the document data structures. Tools are provided to assess the relevancy of documents, including tools to determine the frequency of keywords in the documents, to compare documents, and to contrast documents. Algorithms are provided that use prior searches to determine sets of relevant documents. Adaptive search methods are provided that refine searching during analysis to reduce a number of documents that are not sufficiently relevant. A dynamic relevancy matrix can be generated that provides access to keyword frequency and associated keyword frequency for a plurality of documents.

  • Patent number: 8543620
Abstract: This invention is to solve the high cost of IV&V by simplifying the complex logistics of project management. This is an intelligent project management system comprising a project server computer remotely accessible by a user computing device. The project server computer includes several databases: A database of electronic library which stores documents that are required by the project, a database which stores project data that reflect the state of the project, and a database which stores the user information of privileged users. Several modules are executing in the project server computer to generate the view of the project, to automatically monitor the state of the project, to verify and validate the mapping between multiple documents for requirement traceability, to automatically indicate the state of the project, to automatically provide assistance to the user, to automatically inform the stakeholder on matters related to the project, and to authenticate the privileged user.

  • Patent number: 6978420
Abstract: A hierarchical document cross-reference system comprises a document server computer remotely accessible by a user computer. The document server computer includes a database which stores the contents of a first document and a second document. The first document contains one or more segments and the second document contains one or more segments. Each segment is identified by a segment identifier. The document server computer also includes a module executable in the document server computer. The module is configured to receive a request to cross-reference the first document and the second document on a key phrase. The module searches the first document and the second document for the key phrase and identifies the segments in the documents containing the key phrase. The module then displays on the user computer a side-by-side display listing the segment identifiers for the identified segments.

Abstract: A hierarchical document comparison system comprises a document server computer remotely accessible by a user computer. The document server computer includes a database which stores the contents of a first document and a second document. The first document contains one or more segments and the second document contains one or more segments. Each segment is identified by a segment identifier. The document server computer also includes a module executable in the document server computer. The module is configured to receive a request to compare the first document and the second document. The module compares the first document and the second document and identifies the segments in the documents containing differences. The module then displays on the user computer a side-by-side display listing the segment identifiers for the identified segments.
