    Abstract: A castor assembly comprises stem (2) which is adapted at the upper end (4) thereof to be connected to the base of a structure to be supported, a foot (5), a castor body (3) swivellably mounted on the stem (2), a castor wheel (12) carried by the castor body, the rotational axis (13) of the castor wheel being offset from the axis of the stem to provide castoring, and a thrust bearing (19) positioned at the upper end of the castor body. The foot (5) is carried by the lower end of the stem (2), which is adjustable threadedly engageable with a threaded bore in the base whereby adjustment of the stem upper end (4) causes the foot to be raised or lowered relative to the base. The castor body (3) is capable of vertical movement relative to the stem (2), and the thrust bearing (20) bears the vertical load acting between the castor body and the base when the foot (5) is lifted clear of the floor and the castor wheel is supporting the structure.

    Abstract: A mounting bracket is disclosed for a fixture element formed with channel means comprising two opposed channel formations, the mounting bracket comprising a bracket body and a flange formation adapted to be slidably received by the channel formtions, the flange formation (4, 6) being held spaced from bracket body (22), the flange formation comprising flange portions (4′, 6′) which together define a substantially rectangular outline, disregarding any spaces between the flange portions. The flange portions lie substantially in a common plane and are directed generally outwardly, in opposite directions, of the centre (22) of the rectangular outline. The arrangement is such that in use the flange formation is receivable by the channel means (42, 44) of the fixture element (40 ) in two orientations of the fixture element that are perpendicular to each other.

    Abstract: An enclosure for housing cabling and associated equipment has a frame structure including one or more elongated support members. The support members are formed with an arcuate flange extending in a direction away from the uppermost edge of the support member. The arcuate flange will support any cables that are laid over the top of the support member, with the cable following the smooth arc of the flange. This gradual transition from the vertical plane to the horizontal plane means the cable will not deform or form kinks. Cabling entering the enclosure from a direction above the flange of a support member will be less likely to be caught inadvertently in U-shaped attachment slots because of the oblique angle of the slots and the presence of the cantilever tongues.

    Abstract: A backplane assembly in accordance with cPCI bus architecture includes a backplane having a front side and a back side, a plurality of 7-row connectors, at least one 7-row shroud coupled to the front side of the backplane, and at least one 10-row connector. The plurality of 7-row connectors are coupled to the front side of the backplane, and each of the 7-row connectors includes a plurality of pins that extend from within an interior of the backplane out through the front side of the backplane into the respective 7-row connector. The at least one 10-row connector is coupled to the back side of the backplane, and includes a plurality of extended pins that extend from within the interior of the backplane out through the front side of the backplane into the at least one 7-row shroud and out through the back side of the backplane into the at least one 10-row connector.
