Patents Assigned to Aqua Signal Aktiengesellschaft
  • Patent number: 7391162
Abstract: The invention relates to a luminaire with at least one LED and a method for operating the luminaire. The luminaire has a sensor for detecting at least a part of the light emitted by the LED and also a control unit for evaluating the sensor signals and for influencing the LED in a manner dependent on the sensor signals. After the luminaire has been switched on, a specific LED current flows and the light intensity of the LED is checked. In the case of a light intensity below a reference value, the LED current is raised by a defined value.

  • Patent number: 6900400
Abstract: An apparatus having an enclosure, at least one circuit breaker and at least one plug receptacle, in particular on ships to supply containers with electrical energy, the circuit breaker being arranged in the enclosure and the plug receptacle preferably being arranged on the outside of the enclosure. An interlocking of the circuit breaker and the plug receptacle is designed such that the circuit breaker can only be switched on when the plug receptacle is occupied and at the same time, it is only possible to remove a plug from the plug receptacle when the circuit breaker is switched off.

  • Patent number: 6707395
Abstract: A circuit configuration for switching navigation lights of a watercraft, especially a sailing vessel, includes elements that prevent a position light configuration from not being in compliance with regulations as well as elements that prevent navigation lights that have mutually exclusive meanings from being switched on at the same time, and a single multiway switch (1) with which the navigation lights and additional lights, that are independent therefrom can be switched.

  • Patent number: 6695462
Abstract: A lighting installation, in particular a danger light, obstruction light or daytime and night-time marker, having at least one luminaire and at least one lighting device arranged in a housing of the luminaire, with the lighting device being in the form of a ring or part of a ring and defining a ring axis, the lighting device being assigned at least a first, wholly or partially encircling reflector surface, which defines an axis of rotation, and the ring axis and axis of rotation run essentially parallel to one another or even coaxially with one another.

  • Patent number: 6554441
Abstract: The invention relates to a lighting installation, in particular as a danger light, obstruction light or day and night marker, having at least one luminaire, with at least one lighting means (13) being arranged in a housing. According to the invention, the lighting means (13) is annular or semi-annular in design and defines a ring axis (19). Furthermore, the lighting means (13) is assigned at least one reflector surface (11) which encircles an axis of rotation (21) entirely or in part. Finally, ring axis and axis of rotation run essentially parallel or even coaxial to one another.

  • Patent number: 6252724
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a Fresnel lens having a staged entrance surface, reflecting surfaces and an exit surface. The entrance surface is subdivided into outer concentric stages and a central part. The central part is aspherically curved on an entrance side and plane on an exit side by satisfying the eikonal condition. Every stage has a top side, underside and outer side, top sides and undersides being of plane design, and the outer sides having curvatures appropriate for satisfying the eikonal condition.

  • Patent number: 6111705
Abstract: The invention relates to a latern with a housing, a LED as light source and a catadioptric lens as a lens system to direct the light radiated from the light source. The light source in the housing can be adjusted relative to the lens system. The light emerges from the lens systems on all sides as a narrow strip, i.e. limited in height.
