Abstract: There is proposed a sanitary fitting having a fitting housing and having an electrical control unit for controlling the water flow through at least one water line, wherein the electrical control unit has at least one electrically actuable control element, in particular a throughflow valve, for closing and opening the water line, wherein the fitting housing is provided for arranging at an installation site, in particular on a wall, on an installation platform and/or on a sanitary body such as a washbasin, bathtub or the like, which sanitary fitting can be maintained or repaired with particularly little effort, specifically even in applications in which the demands with regard to vandalism are of considerable significance.
Abstract: The flow of water through a sanitary fitting is controlled by a hydraulic control unit through which a cold water stream and hot water stream flow, said control unit emitting a mixed water stream. The hydraulic control unit is controlled in turn by a control unit cooperating with a presence sensor. Said presence sensor monitors an area located in front of the sanitary fitting. If an output signal is emitted by the presence sensor, a display unit is actuated, informing a user that the fitting has recognized said user. At the same time, the control unit is taken out of a sleep mode and set to a working mode.
Abstract: A valve device (10) for a sanitary fitting having at least two control elements (30, 32) which are movable relative to one another and on which at least two inlet channels (16, 18) and at least one control channel (42) are formed is described. The control channel (42) is configured for a communicating connection between at least one of the inlet channels (16, 18) and at least one outlet channel (38), depending on the relative position of the control elements (30, 32). According to a first aspect of the invention, an additional channel (40), which is in a permanent, communicating connection with the control channel (42), is provided in the valve device (10), thereby ensuring a communicating connection of the additional channel (40) with at least one of the inlet channels (16, 18), irrespective of the relative position of the control elements (30, 32).
