  • Patent number: 9989415
Abstract: A method for creating a uniformity compensation look-up table is revealed. The method includes the following steps. First measure a plurality of areas on a plane users intend to make uniform to get a measured value of the respective area. Then get a central uniform estimate of a center of the plane. Also get a linear skeleton according to the position of one of the measured values and the position of the central uniform estimate. Next get a plurality of skeletal uniform estimates on the linear skeletons respectively by interpolation or extrapolation of the measured values, the central uniform estimate, and the distance between the position of the measured values and the center of the plane. At last get a plurality of planar uniform estimates on the plane in turn according to the skeletal uniform estimates of the two adjacent linear skeletons to establish the look-up table.

  • Patent number: 9943222
Abstract: A laryngoscope with automatic image adjustment is revealed. The laryngoscope includes a laryngoscope body, a rotation assembly, a display and a sensor. The laryngoscope body is disposed with a fixing slot and is used for capturing an image. One end of the rotation assembly is fixed in the fixing slot while the other end thereof is arranged with the display. The display is rotated around the rotation assembly. The rotation assembly is set with a limiting slot. The sensor is electrically connected to a rear side of the display and is located inside the limiting slot. While the display being rotated, the sensor is slid on the surface of the rotation assembly. When the sensor is slid in the limiting slot, the display shows the image. Once the sensor is slid outside the limiting slot, the display shows a reflection of the image. Thus the image is adjusted automatically.

  • Patent number: 8983205
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for auto-depicting trends in object contours (referred to as ADTOC). At the heart of ADTOC is a sifting process to determine a significant angular value via evaluating a plurality of angular values in a predefined range. ADTOC is characterized in that a probe-ahead concept is applied to obtain a reference angular value along the current route, and then the probed angular value is used to modify the significant angular value in order to timely correct the subsequent trace direction, thus achieving more accurate trace result. Contours with discontinuous segments caused by noise, obstacles, illumination, shading variations, etc. can also be auto-depicted without requiring a predefined auxiliary route.

  • Patent number: 8469274
Abstract: A method for fast locating a decipherable pattern in an input image, which is characterized in utilizing an overly downscaled binary image to not only reduce computation time but also facilitate extraction of skeletons for fast and accurately locating pattern, is disclosed. First, a pre-process is applied to an input image to acquire a binary image downscaled n times, from which at least one skeleton corresponding to a decipherable pattern is extracted. Coordinate values of at least one pixel of each skeleton are respectively enlarged n1/2 times and used as the central points on the original image plane for establishing a plurality of detecting blocks with the identical size. Subsequently, a grading mechanism is employed to determine the corresponding detecting blocks of the decipherable pattern.
