Abstract: A modular storage shed system is provided, including an upper frame assembly having a plurality of vertically oriented posts, each post defining an elongated slot extending axially along at least a portion of a length thereof, a plurality of external wall panels each defining a pair of side edges, each wall panel including a lip extending orthogonally from at least a portion of each side edge thereof and defining at least one aperture formed therein. There is provided a plurality of panel locks having a lock member. The lock member may snap-fit engage the apertures in the lips of the wall panels when the lips of adjacent wall panels are positioned within the slot of a common vertical post and when the lock member of the panel lock is pressed between the adjacent wall panels into the slot of the vertical post.

Abstract: A wall panel for a storage building is provided. The wall panel includes a first arcuate ridged region bounded by a first inner clamping surface, and a second inner clamping surface. The wall panel also includes a second arcuate ridged region bounded by a first outer clamping surface and a second outer clamping surface. The second arcuate ridged region of a first wall panel is adapted to securely overlap and snap-fit interconnect with said first arcuate ridged region of a second adjacent wall panel.

Abstract: Connection apparatus for connecting frame members and panel members is provided for constructing a storage building primarily from sheet metal. The apparatus utilizes connecting members that may be made from thermoplastic or metal materials. The number of threaded fasteners and time required to assemble the storage building is reduced dramatically from that of prior designs.
