Abstract: A door frame system comprises a wall and a door frame. The door frame comprises a sub-buck portion and a shell portion, coupled to the sub-buck portion. The sub-buck portion comprises a sub-buck mounting arm including at least one mounting aperture, a sub-buck rabbet arm coupled to one end of the sub-buck mounting arm and a sub-buck support arm coupled to the sub-buck mounting arm opposite the sub-buck rabbet arm. The sub-buck portion is surface mounted to a single surface of the wall through the at least one mounting aperture.
Abstract: The invention is a device for transmitting acoustical energy through the surface of the skin of a patient, coupled with the administration of a compound, for example an acne medication, for the purpose of temporarily expanding the patient's pore size and enhancing the delivery of the compound to the patient's pores. The ultrasonic transducer emits a sonic transmission of variable intensity and frequency for the purpose of enhancing the absorption of compounds that have first been deposited onto the surface of the skin and into skin pores that have been expanded by the ultrasound transmission.
Abstract: An ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) Universal Composition powder coating is provided. The composition can include about 73.0 to about 78.0 weight percent (wt. %) of a silicone resin, about 2.0 to about 7.0 wt. % of a hardener, about 0.7 to about 1.2 wt. % of a UV stabilizer, about 0.7 to about 1.2 wt. % of a flow modifier, about 15.0 to about 20.0 wt. % of a glass flake, and about 0.1 to about 0.6 wt. % of a catalyst. A UVA additive composition including a plurality of UVA additive particles having a continuous phase of a silicon resin that contains a hardener, a UV stabilizer, a flow modifier, glass flakes, and a catalyst, wherein the plurality of UVA additive particles have a particle size of 0.5 to 100 ?m, is also provided.
Abstract: A door assembly includes a first door skin and a second door skin spaced apart from the first door skin. The assembly also includes an energy sensor generating an energy signature signal and a memory storing a door component operating signature. A controller is coupled to the accelerometer and forms a comparison of the energy signature signal to the door component operating signature and generates a door component operation status signal in response to the comparison.

Abstract: Improved fluid supply assemblies for fluid systems are provided. In exemplary embodiments, the present disclosure provides for improved fluid supply assemblies and related features, systems and methods of use. More particularly, the present disclosure provides for advantageous faucet assemblies (e.g., electrically or mechanically actuated faucet assemblies) having an integrated anti-scald device and having an integrated temperature mixing valve. The present disclosure provides for a faucet assembly having an integrated temperature mixing valve, and/or having an integrated anti-scald device configured to stop the inlet flow of hot water in the event the mixed outlet water temperature exceeds a user-selected set point. Advantageous faucet assemblies of the present disclosure can prevent scalding as defined by ASSE 1070. Improved, convenient and effective systems and methods for utilizing improved faucet assemblies in fluid systems are provided.

Abstract: A sensor-operated pull-out faucet can include a spout having a hose disposed therein, a pull-out spray head fluidly coupled to the hose and configured to dock at an end of the spout, and a sensor assembly disposed at least partially in the spout proximate the end of the spout. The sensor assembly can include a sensor and a shutter disposed adjacent the sensor. The shutter can be operable to obscure the sensor in a closed state and expose the sensor in an open state. The faucet can also include a control unit communicatively coupled to the sensor and configured to control fluid flow through the hose and the pull-out spray head based on control signals generated by the sensor.
Abstract: A siphonic flush toilet system and method of priming the same having a toilet bowl assembly comprising at least one jet flush valve assembly and at least one rim valve; and bowl having a rim and a jet defining at least one jet channel. The bowl has a closed jet pathway to maintain the jet channel in a primed state with fluid from the jet flush valve assembly to prevent air from entering the closed jet pathway. Flush valves may have back-flow preventer mechanisms and/or at least partly flexible valve covers, including specific valve cover structures. Flush activation assemblies may have a flush activation bar connected to the pivot rod and/or an adjustable flush connector located between the pivot rod and the flush activation bar. A kit providing one or more flush activation elements is included. The kit elements may be usable with the toilet systems and methods described.

Abstract: A sanitaryware cleaning system can include a sanitary fixture such as a toilet having a compartment formed on and under its deck. The compartment can house a cleaning tablet that is maintained within a waterway between a tank and a bowl of the sanitary fixture. When the fixture is operated, water flowing down the waterway can dissolve a portion of the cleaning tablet, thus injecting cleaning agents into the bowl along with the water.

Abstract: Valve cartridges for a faucet are described herein. The valve cartridge has a body with a longitudinal passage, and a side opening. The cartridge has a spindle with a lower end portion in rotatable relationship with the body's interior surface, and an upper outwardly extending end portion. Included is a movable disk with a surface that contacts and interacts with the lower end portion of the spindle, an arcuate side wall portion and an inwardly extending side wall portion with a fluid receiving area that allows for fluid flow out of the body side opening. A stationary disk with a through opening allows passage of fluid from a body inlet through the side opening when the opening in the disk is aligned with the fluid receiving area. A sealing ring, which mates with the body, is provided to stabilize the stationary and movable disks within the body passage.
Abstract: A system and method for discharging waste fluid from a dialysis machine into a toilet. The system may be a medical toilet that includes an air gap, an inlet port, a manifold, and an outlet port. The system may be a medical toilet seat that includes a discharge assembly, nozzle, and air gap. The discharge assembly may be releasably secured to the medical toilet seat. The system may have a discharge assembly pivotally coupled to a flush line of a flush valve.
