Abstract: A detecting system of a fastening apparatus that detects an axial force of the fastening apparatus including a bolt or a nut. The detecting system includes an axial force detector including a strain gauge and an IC tag, the strain gauge being provided at a predetermined location to detect an axial force value of the fastening apparatus, and the IC tag being connected to the strain gauge and wirelessly transmitting the detected axial force value and unique identification information. Power is supplied to the axial force detector. A reader reads data transmitted from the axial force detector.
Abstract: A head light system for a vehicle using a discharge lamp together with glare stop structure provides a low beam mode and a high beam mode. The head light system includes a discharge lamp (4) mounted on a base plate (1), a shade (7) for selectively and partially shading light source (5) of the discharge lamp (4), and a moving means (K) for sliding said shade (7) relative to the discharge lamp (4) along an arrow (X) in a longitudinal direction of the discharge lamp (4). The shade (7) has a leg (7b) which penetrates the base plate (1), and the leg (7b) is coupled with an iron piece (9) in a solenoid (8) which is fixed to a rod (6) fixed under the base plate (1). The iron piece (9) is urged by a spring (10) so that shade plane (7a) of the shade (7) partially covers the light source (5) of the discharge lamp (4) when the solenoid is not energized so that low beam mode is provided.
Abstract: A discharge lamp assembly compatible with a conventional filament type vehicle lamp has a discharge lamp, and a base structure with a first base component made of ceramics and a second base component made of plastics. The first base component has a cylindrical tube having a height at center of the component for accepting the lamp together with a positive lead line of the lamp into the hole under the cylindrical tube, a hole at side of the component for accepting a negative lead line of the lamp, and a slit between the holes. A first partition wall is provided between the slit and the hole. The second base component has a circular flange and a hollow housing under the flange which engages with the first base component. A second partition wall is provided in the housing so that the second partition wall engages with the slit of the first base component when assembled.
