  • Patent number: 11464407
Abstract: A method for generating an indicator or biomarker of colour perception in a mammalian subject, where the method may include submitting the mammalian subject to a multicoloured dynamic stimulus comprising displaying, on a display device. The method may include controlling a change over time of at least one of the two colours of the multicolour pattern when displaying the dynamic multicolour stimulus, to vary the displayed luminance of this colour (usually several times). The method may include acquiring, by using an image acquisition device, an oscillatory response of a pupil of the mammalian subject. The method may include generating, from the acquired response, a signal representative of the power of the pupil's oscillatory response as a function of the change over time of at least one of the two colours when displaying the dynamic multicoloured stimulus.

  • Patent number: 11229356
Abstract: Evaluation of the perception of colors by mammals with a view to obtaining a characteristic biomarker of each tested subject takes advantage of the slow pupillary oscillatory response to generate an objective neurological signature of this perception of colors. A method based on pupil frequency tagging is used at a tagging frequency Ftag adapted to the pupil response speed. A dynamic two-color stimulus is displayed, this stimulus comprising a two-color pattern the colors of which are inverted at the frequency Ftag, one of the colors gradually varying in a range of possible values. From the pupillary response, a signal representative of the oscillation power of the pupil is generated. The minimum of this signal corresponds to the relative iso-luminance of the tested pair of colors.

  • Publication number: 20200264166
Abstract: A process for isolating or extracting rare cells from a biological sample comprising filtering a biological sample, which may be treated or diluted, through a filter that has a pore size, pore density or other physical properties that retain rare cells, but which permits other kinds of cells to pass through the filter. This process also comprises multiple analyses performed on rare cells after their extraction or isolation by filtration to diagnostically identify the presence of rare cells in a biological sample and to use their diagnostic identification and molecular characterization for diagnostic purposes such as for early diagnosis of diseases, namely for early diagnosis of cancer and to select, guide, monitor treatments and in particular to select targeted treatments and to monitor the response and/or resistance to them.

  • Patent number: 7860656
Abstract: The present invention is drawn to a new diagnosis method for detecting the extent of hepatic steatosis in a patient, in particular in a patient who suffers from a disease involving hepatic steatosis, or who already had a positive diagnosis test of liver fibrosis and/or presence of liver necroinflammatory lesions, by using the serum concentration of easily detectable biological markers. The invention is also drawn to diagnosis kits for the implementation of the method.
