Patents Assigned to ASV Stubbe GmbH & Co KG
  • Patent number: 6308933
Abstract: A shut-off valve has a housing which is provided with a spindle bush. Located in the spindle bush is a movable spindle which is sealed with respect to the housing. The spindle is connected to a closure body disposed in the housing. The housing also has a recess, which extends around the spindle bush and is open to the interior of the housing. If the housing comes under internal pressure, the recess prevents corresponding deformation of the spindle bush. The latter can thus not become leaky under the action of the internal pressure.

  • Patent number: 5913506
Abstract: The ball cock has a housing in which a valve ball is rotatably arranged. The sealing is effected by two sealing rings which are retained by cages. Disposed on each side of the ball cock is a spigot for welding the valve to the connecting pipes. The connection between the spigots and the flat parallel end surfaces of the housing and of the associated cage is produced by vibration welding. Absolutely no changes in dimension or shape occur and a strength is produced which corresponds to that of the plastic material. The ball cock is of simple construction and may be manufactured economically.

  • Patent number: 5725019
Abstract: The invention relates to a pressure retaining valve including a housing which has a housing inlet passage and a housing outlet passage which can be connected to the housing inlet passage, a valve piston which is movable in the housing and has a valve shaft, a valve seat associated with the valve piston, whereby the valve piston is biased by a spring in the direction towards the valve seat and, in the closed position, seals the connection between the housing inlet passage and the housing outlet passage, and an isolating membrane which is clamped in the housing and separates the spring and the valve piston.

  • Patent number: 5474418
Abstract: A self priming pump having a pump housing including a suction passage and a discharge passage. A pump chamber with an inlet and an outlet is also provided in the pump housing. A pump impeller is arranged in the pump chamber and has a suction opening opposed to the inlet of the pump chamber. A working fluid chamber is provided in the pump housing and is connected to the outlet of the pump chamber and to the discharge passage of the pump housing. A jet pump diffuser is provided directly upstream of the pump impeller. The jet pump diffuser has an inlet which is in communication with the suction passage of the pump housing and cooperates with the outlet of a jet pump drive nozzle within the suction passage. The inlet of the drive nozzle is connected to a supply passage which is connected to a supply passage which is connected to the working fluid chamber. A bypass line leads from the suction passage to the outlet of the diffuser while bypassing the inlet thereof.

  • Patent number: 4793659
Abstract: A wheel of synthetic material and method of making same for vehicles, such as a steering wheel for motor vehicles, such as a wheel for bicycles and the like and, for example for other applications including single-track vehicles. The wheel includes a rim, a plurality of spokes, and a hub, and is made in one piece by injection molding at the hub. Between each two adjacent spokes, the rim has a wall element which extends in the circumferential direction of the rim, extends from the connection location of each spoke on the rim to the middle of the rim portion between two spokes, and is rheologically designed as a preliminary flow cross-sectional area such that preliminary flows of the synthetic material enter the wall element from both spokes and flow more quickly from the two spoke connection locations to the middle of the rim portion than the two circumferential flows of synthetic material which advance in the remaining rim walls.

This prohibits the two circumferential flows in the remaining rim walls from meeting at the middle of the rim portion and forming a cold flow seam which would considerably reduce the strength of the rim at this central rim portion.
