Abstract: A dry pump for gases comprises a first rotor (1) comprising a first lobe portion (1A) and a first screw (1B), as well as a second rotor (2) comprising a second lobe portion (2A) and a second screw (2B). A casing delimits an internal volume in which are located together the first and second screws (1B, 2B) and the first and second lobe portions (1A, 2A). Each of the first and second screws (1B, 2B) comprises a threading invariable along its length. The first and second rotors (1, 2) turn in opposite directions and are located in successive configurations. In a first configuration of the rotors, the first and second lobe portions (1A, 2A), a portion of the first screw (1B), a portion of the second screw (2B) and the casing together delimit a chamber (30) which is closed. In a second configuration of the rotors, the chamber (30) has a smaller capacity than in the first configuration.

Abstract: A separation assembly for the flow measurement of a gas flow and a liquid flow of a multiphase fluid includes separator with a housing and a separation element inside the housing. The separation element provides the fluid to rotate at high-speed causing strong centrifugal forces on the multiphase fluid. The housing has an inlet for a multiphase mixture and two outlets, one primarily for pre-separated gas and the second primarily for pre-separated liquid. These outlets lead to a regulator. The regulator is part of the separation assembly and includes at least two outlets, one for gas and one for liquid. The regulator ensures the proportional regulation and the final separation of gas and liquid phases over an entire flow rate to provide monophase liquid and gas at the outlets of the regulator.

Abstract: A split wireless keyboard for communicating with a host device includes first and second keyboard halves. Each keyboard half communicates wirelessly with the host device to communicate that a key has been depressed or released. The keyboard halves communicate wirelessly with each other to signal key status changes. The two keyboard halves alternate serving as master and slave depending upon which keyboard half has most recently detected a change of key status, and only the keyboard half designated as the master actively communicates with the host. Wireless communications among the two keyboard halves and the host may use Bluetooth short-range wireless technology protocol. One keyboard half initially pairs with the host, and then shares a wireless link key with the other keyboard half during a setup phase. A Y-shaped hardwired connection cable may be used to interconnect the two keyboard halves to the host device instead of using wireless communications.

Abstract: The artificial fireplace includes an enclosure delimited by a lower wall, an upper wall and a peripheral wall. The peripheral wall includes an opening, a bed of fake embers being disposed inside the enclosure on a base defined by the lower wall. The enclosure is also provided with a projector for an image, in particular animated flames, towards a display screen disposed in the enclosure in a line of sight extending through the opening. The display screen is defined by a transparent glass plate extending between the bed of fake embers and the projector, while forming, in relation to the incident ray emanating from the projector, an angle ranging between 50° and 56°. The projector is defined for broadcasting images, in particular animated flames, through a linear polarized light. The invention also relates to a fireplace unit or stove comprising an artificial fireplace.

Abstract: A pumping method in a pumping system comprises: a main vacuum pump with a gas inlet port connected to a vacuum chamber and a gas outlet port leading into a conduit before coming out into the gas outlet of the pumping system, a non-return valve positioned in the conduit between the gas outlet port and the gas outlet, and an auxiliary vacuum pump connected in parallel to the non-return valve. The main vacuum pump is activated in order to pump the gases contained in the vacuum chamber through the gas outlet port, simultaneously the auxiliary vacuum pump is activated and continues to operate all the while that the main vacuum pump pumps the gases contained in the vacuum chamber and/or all the while that the main vacuum pump maintains a defined pressure in the vacuum chamber. Also included is a pumping system.

Abstract: A fuel tank assembly includes a shell defining an opening therein, an access panel connectable to the shell and movable between a closed position where the opening is closed and an open position where the opening is open, and a fuel tank disposed in the shell and slidably engaged with the shell. The fuel tank and the opening are dimensioned such that the fuel tank is slidable out of the shell via the opening when the access panel is in the open position. A generator assembly and a method of servicing a fuel tank of a generator are also described.

Abstract: A vacuum pump includes a casing having a first inlet orifice and a second outlet orifice to allow a flow of air, and in the interior of which a filtering element is mounted in a removable way. At least one orifice of the casing selected from among the first inlet orifice and the second outlet orifice is located on an exhaust lid. The exhaust lid is removable from the casing but integral with the filtering element. The connection between the casing and the exhaust lid is not tight. A cartridge for the vacuum pump includes an exhaust lid integrated in the closure nozzle of the filtering element. The connection between the casing and the exhaust lid is not tight.

Abstract: The invention provides a reusable linkage which has a coupling which coupling has one or more male connectors formed from two or more compressible leaves; and/or one or more female connectors wherein each female connector is shaped to receive a male connector; wherein the compressible leaves of the male connector are shaped to resiliently engage the female connector and wherein the leaves of the male connector are compressible such that a male connector can be removed from a female connector.

Abstract: A pumping installation includes at least one first positive-displacement machine and one second positive-displacement machine, as well as a control module, in which installation a gas is evacuated from an enclosed volume by means of the first positive-displacement machine and/or the second positive-displacement machine. The pumping installation includes at least one control valve controlled by the control module and a pressure sensor for sensing the value of the pressure at the outlet of the first positive-displacement machine and/or a temperature sensor for sensing the value of the temperature at the outlet of the first positive-displacement machine in order to control the flow of gas between the enclosed volume and the outlet of the pumping installation.
