Abstract: A novel elevator door interlock assembly configured for use in an elevator having a swing door is provided. The elevator door interlock further configured to enable use of the elevator and disable use of the elevator. The novel elevator door interlock including a mounting plate configured for attachment to a surface of a swing door frame. An interlock module is attached to the mounting plate and configured to facilitate locking and unlocking of the swing door. A latch bracket is attached to the swing door and configured for insertion into a cavity formed within the interlock module. The combination of the mounting plate and the interlock module have a maximum thickness of 0.75 inches.
