Abstract: A door mirror which is installed on a motor vehicle's body in such a manner as to project laterally from the vehicle's body so as to reflect on a surface of the mirror what is behind the vehicle's body, wherein the mirror surface of the door mirror is divided into?two parts, and thus divided mirror surfaces are respectively provided with reflection angle adjusting mechanisms so that reflection angles of the divided mirror surfaces can be independently and arbitrarily adjusted, and the divided mirror surface positioned on the outer side can be turned to project laterally from the door mirror to face outward.
Abstract: A folding bicycle, wherein a head pipe is pivotally supported on the front end of a main frame so as to freely rotate, a handle shaft for rotatably supporting a front wheel is supported while being inserted into the head pipe, a rear wheel is rotatably supported on the rear end of the main frame, a saddle post having a saddle on the top end is pivotally supported on the rear side of a pivotal-support portion of the head pipe, a stay having the top end detachably fixed on the saddle post is pivotally supported on the front side of the rear wheel of the main frame, a crank gear is rotatably supported between a pivotal-support portion of the saddle post and a pivotal-support portion of the stay, a chain is looped over the crank gear and a small gear provided on the rear wheel, and the stay, the saddle post and the handle shaft can be folded so as to be overlaid one another along the main frame.
Abstract: An arrangement comprising a main body having a head continuous with a grip, an LED housed in the main body for emitting warning light from within the grip, a light bulb housed in the main body for emitting warning light through glass disposed in at the front end of the head, a light emission controller for controlling the emission of light from the LED and light bulb, and a percussion imparting member attached to the head for breaking a window glass in a car. This arrangement makes it unnecessary to secure a space for installing both a hammer and an emergency signal instrument in a car.
Abstract: A vehicle detention device provides a pair of stopper blocks, where one of the stopper blocks moves on a guide shaft relative to the other stopper block secured to the guide shaft. A locking device is provided in order to prevent the movable stopper block from shifting away from a tire so that both the stationary and movable stopper blocks remain in contact with the tire at both sides of ground contact point to prevent rotation of the wheel with the tire mounted thereon. Using a pair of chains, the wheel is secured and placed under detention with the stopper blocks closely held in contact with the tire. Since the mechanical components necessary for releasing the tire and wheel are fully concealed by a key-actuated cover unit, no one can readily remove the vehicle detention device from the restrained vehicle without operating a proper key, thus securely detaining the vehicle.
