Abstract: A torsional vibration damper is capable of neutralizing vibrations with a relatively large amplitude, and includes a pair of strengthened equalizers. The damper transmits a torque between a drive plate operatively connected to a torque input member, and hub operatively connected to a torque output member. The hub has a plurality of hub arms extending outward from its outer periphery with an equal angular. A pair of equalizers is journalled on the outer peripheries of and floating independently of said hub arms, each equalizer including an annular portion and arm portions extending inward from the inner periphery of the annular portion. The arm portions of two equalizers alternate between neighboring hub arms. Compression spring sets are interposed in serial between the arm portions of both the equalizers and between the arm portions and the hub arms.

Abstract: A vehicle level detector has a pair of switching elements respectively secured to a vehicle body and a suspension member for displacement with respect to one another corresponding to the displacement of the vehicle body and the suspension member. The switching elements are arranged to detect relative distance between the vehicle body and the suspension member and to produce signals when the detected distance is smaller or greater than predetermined minimum or maximum values. A fail-safe mechanism is provided to urge one of the switching elements to a position normally placing the switching element in relation to the other switching element such that the relative distance between the vehicle body and the suspension member is maintained within a range between the minimum and maximum predetermined values.

Abstract: A vehicle level regulator control system controls the vehicle level regulator to improve the response characteristics of the suspension member in response to the vehicle level detector. The control system includes a means for resetting the preset in the delay means for directly activating the suspension member responsive to the vehicle level detector signal when the starter switch is turned on.

Abstract: A vacuum regulation valve operable to regulate the vacuum in the vacuum line of an exhaust gas recirculation system, includes a compact construction and a buffer means which is effective to eliminate the clattering sounds inherent in the conventional vacuum regulation valve.
