    Abstract: A shopping cart handle and sanitizing apparatus and method includes a housing with a sanitizing fluid reservoir mounted to slidably encircle the cart handle and dispense the fluid onto the handle from applicators in the housing that contract the handle as the housing is moved to and fro. A pump mechanism transfers fluid from the reservoir to the applicators.
