    Abstract: A method for impact test on a lower abdomen of a vehicle crash test dummy includes: controlling an arc-shaped hammer head to impact a lower abdomen of a preset dummy at a preset speed; obtaining displacements from a displacement sensor, wherein the displacements are generated by the lower abdomen of the preset dummy and the arc-shaped hammer head during the impact; obtaining a pressure from a pressure sensor, wherein the pressure is borne by the lower abdomen of the preset dummy during the impact; and determining, based on the displacements and the pressure, whether the preset dummy satisfies a biological simulation standard. The method is capable of testing whether the current dummy satisfies the biological simulation standard, so as to ensure the accuracy of test data in subsequent vehicle crash tests using the dummy.

This disclosure evaluates the quality of the lumbar spine performance of crash test dummies, allowing only those with better lumbar spine performance to participate in crash tests, and therefore improving the consistency and accuracy of different crash test dummies' response in crash tests.

The frame of a battery containment system is further designed to resist impalements in order to protect the batteries. A preparation method for the molecular sieves include the following steps: mixing a hydroxyphosphono organic alkali R with an aluminum source and a silicon source to obtain a sol-gel precursor, putting the sol-gel precursor into a closed hydrothermal synthesis reactor for reaction, filtering the reaction solution, washing, drying, and calcination to obtain the molecular sieves with intergrown phases of AEI and CHA topologies. The molecular sieves and the catalyst thereof can be directly synthesized under mild conditions with a hydroxyphosphono organic alkali as a structure-directing agent and a phosphorus source, have a pH value of 6-9 and low requirements for corrosion resistance of production devices, and are suitable for large-scale production.

The msect-4 molecular sieves with OFF and ERI topologies, the preparation method therefor, and applications exhibit excellent hydrothermal stability, a plurality of adsorption sites exposed by a regular bone-like structure, and a large specific surface area.

A collision simulation calculation is performed to obtain the first tibial index curve, the first knee displacement curve, and the first thigh force curve. Similarly, the second designated collision point is used to obtain the second tibial index curve, the second knee displacement curve, and the second thigh force curve. Then, the injury values are calculated, and by comparing the injury values at different positions, the peak position is determined.

    Abstract: A process is provided for thermal molding an article with at least one layer of thermoplastic fibers that are non-woven and uni-directionally oriented in combination with at least one layer of reinforcing fibers. Upon subjecting the layers to sufficient heat to thermally bond in the presence of non-oriented filler fibers, thermoplastic fiber fusion encapsulates the filler fibers. The filler fibers impart physical properties to the resulting article and the residual unidirectional orientation of the thermoplastic melt imparts physical properties in the fiber direction to the article. By combining layers with varying orientations of uni-directional fibers relative to one another, the physical properties of the resulting article may be controlled and extended relative to conventional thermoplastic moldings.
