Abstract: A fluid exchanger apparatus for exchanging a first fluid with a second fluid in varying proportions and comprising fluid exhaust for exhausting such first fluid along a predetermined exhaust flow path, fluid inlet for inducting such second fluid along a predetermined inlet flow path, transfer duct extending around a curved flow path, the path essentially defining a path plane, from the exhaust flow path to the inlet flow path, and providing a smoothly curved fluid flow path therebetween, at least a movable portion of the duct being movable relative to the fluid exhaust, the movable portion being rotatable about any axis except an axis perpendicular to the curve plane whereby rotation of the movable portion establishes and interrupts fluid flow connection between the fluid exhaust and the fluid inlet, and, power operator for moving the movable portion relative to the fixed portion into a plurality of different positions, whereby the first fluid may be mixed with the second fluid in varying proportions.

Abstract: Separator apparatus for separating a mixture of liquids and solids and having a separator tank, means for passing a mixture of liquids and solids to the tank, screen means in the separator tank dividing it into a mixture compartment, on one side, and a filtrate compartment on the other side, means for removing such mixture from the mixture compartment, liquid conduit means extending from the filtrate compartment of the separator tank, scraper means for moving solid materials from the screen, and being movable momentarily away from such screen.

Abstract: Exchanger means for exchanging a first fluid with a second fluid, in varying proportions and employs a first duct, carrying the first fluid, a second duct carrying the second fluid, and a transfer chamber connected to both ducts, through which some, or all of the second fluid is able to be transferred back into the first duct, and variable control means in the form of first and second damper blade means in the chamber which can be swung together, thus dividing the chamber and preventing transfer, and which may be swung apart to procure varying proportions of such transfer. The chamber also has inlet means for inlet of the first fluid and outlet means for discharge of the second fluid.
