  • Patent number: 4862569
Abstract: Machine with a table with intermittent rotation makes it possible to perform with great rapidity the working and assembly of parts requiring great precision. It comprises operating units (49, 49') placed above, below and at the side of rotating table (28), and cylindrical bodies (2, 2') to which are fastened linear cams (1, 1'), said bodies during a work cycle perform an axial movement transmitting the advance and return movement to the operating units by radial linear cams (1, 1'), and during an idle time, bodies (2, 2') are rotated angularly so that the return to their initial position takes place without influencing said operating units (always during idle time). Linear cams (1, 1') are fastened to bodies (2, 2') mutually movable in opposite directions, both axially and angularly, to balance the forces due to the various masses in very rapid movement and their notable accelerations.

  • Patent number: 4523359
Abstract: A machine has an intermittently rotating table for holding parts to be worked on or assembled. Operating units (20, 21, 25) are actuable either simultaneously for all units or groups of units, or independently of one another. The operating units can be mounted vertically over or under the table and also laterally and can receive the rotary movement of a central wheel or independent motors. According to a preferred embodiment, the control of the feed is effected by the central shaft (4). During a work cycle, this shaft makes a vertical movement and transmits that movement to the operating units (20, 21) by radial linear cams (16, 17, etc.), i.e., feed and return occur during a single movement of the shaft (4), for example, downward. During idle time, i.e.

  • Patent number: 4496038
Abstract: The mechanism makes it possible to control the advance of operating units (9, 9') in a much simpler fashion than known mechanisms which use cams or long tappets. It comprises the following: a plurality of toothed wheels (3), one for each station (9, 9'), all of them activated by a single toothed belt (1) through one or more motors (4) which can be asynchronous. Each toothed wheel (3) controls the following: one upper shaft (4), one endless screw (6), one companion wheel (7), one roller (5), and one lever (10, 18) for the advance of the upper operating units (9). At the same time it controls the following: a lower shaft (4'), an endless screw (6'), a companion wheel (7'), a roller (5'), a lever (10', 18') for the advance of the lower operating unit (9').
