Patent number: 11850616Abstract: A coating device for applying a coating agent to the surface of a workpiece. The coating device includes a frame with a workpiece receptacle, a coating agent source and a rotary unit which is rotatable in relation to the frame. The rotary unit has a pump and a plurality of spray units, with the pump on the suction side being connected to the coating agent source by a fluid-conducting rotary joint connection. The rotary unit has a pneumatic valve device, and the spray units have in each case one compressed air controlled valve for controlling the delivery of coating agent. The inlet side of the valve is connected to the compressed air source by a fluid-conducting rotary feedthrough, which simplifies the overall construction of the coating device by providing a pneumatic connection between the compressed air source and the rotary unit that is independent of the rotation angle.Type: GrantFiled: August 17, 2022Date of Patent: December 26, 2023Assignee: Robert Bürkle GmbHInventors: Marcel Scheerer, Michael Hoffer

Patent number: 9693393Abstract: A heated roll with a circular cylindrical casing tube 1 made from thermally conductive metal, which is closed at its end faces with caps 2, 3. One or more electric heating mats 8 are arranged inside the casing tube 1. By at least one connection pin 5, which is arranged at one cap 2, connection cables 11 are guided for supplying the heating mats 8 with electric power. Annular brushing bodies 7 are fastened at the connection pin 5 and serve for the electric contacting of the connection cables 11. A tensioning device 9, 14, 15 is arranged inside the casing tube 1, which presses the heating mats 8 permanently against the interior surface of the casing tube 1.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 2015Date of Patent: June 27, 2017Assignee: Robert Bürkle GmbHInventors: Markus Stortz, Marcel Scheerer, Michael Plocher

Patent number: 9023163Abstract: A method for laminating essentially plate-shaped work pieces with a thermally activated adhesive layer, particularly photovoltaic modules. Work pieces are inserted into a vacuum chamber having a compression element dividing the vacuum chamber in a gas tight fashion that can be raised and lowered by pressure differences. The compression element presses against the work piece which in turn presses against a heating plate which forms a lower side of the vacuum chamber, with processing heat being transferred into the work piece to soften the adhesive. The work piece is first impinged by the compression element with a slight load from approx. 2% to 10% of the defined processing load, and is simultaneously kept below the adhesive activation temperature. Thereafter, the slight load is lifted off the work piece and the work piece is heated to the activation temperature and impinged via the compression element with the processing load.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2011Date of Patent: May 5, 2015Assignee: Robert Bürkle GmbHInventor: Norbert Damm

Publication number: 20100279059Abstract: A device for creating a three-dimensional molded part (30) made from fiber material using of a multiple-part mold (1, 2) whose inside (1a, 2a) determines, at least partially, the contours of the molded part. The fibers are blown into the mold by an air flow using a plurality of nozzles (4) and the air flow then escapes through openings of the mold, so that the fibers accumulate on the inside of the mold, whereupon the fibers are optionally compressed locally before they are bonded with each other through the supply of heat and are finally taken from the mold (1, 2) as a molded part (30). The blowing direction of the nozzles (4, 24, 34) can be pivoted and the pivot axes extend close to the outside of the molded part and the fibers are blown in by the nozzles (4, 24, 34) that are activated at different times.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2010Publication date: November 4, 2010Applicant: ROBERT BÜRKLE GMBHInventor: Manfred Heinl
