  • Patent number: 10074232
Abstract: A method for presenting both content based video signals and secondary video signals over a multi-layer touch screen display using a multiple display manager system is disclosed. First and second display managers are configured to receive primary content video signals from a controller and secondary video signals from a secondary video source. The first display manager is in communication with a front layer of the touch screen display and the second display manager is in communication with a back layer of the touch screen display. The screen may be split between multiple signals, or one or more signals may overlay one or more background signals. The overlaid signals may completely obscure the background signals, or they may provide a level of transparency. A touch router device interprets touches at a touch screen shared display to transform coordinates to enable interpretation of the player's touch inputs.

  • Patent number: 10068429
Abstract: Club cards and tickets can be eliminated by providing an application that allows a player's mobile phone to process an image of an optical machine-readable representation of data. At the end of a wagering session on a WGM, the WGM can display a barcode representing a player's winnings, an achievement, game status, etc. The player takes a picture of the barcode with his or her mobile phone. The application on the phone processes the barcode image and automatically updates an account of the player in accordance with the data represented or carried by the barcode. For instance, the mobile phone sends a request to a wagering account server to electronically deposit the winnings, as represented by the barcode, in a wagering account associated with the player's club profile.

  • Patent number: 10068358
Abstract: A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In some embodiments, the operations can include intercepting video data from a graphics controller of a wagering game machine. In some instances, the video data depicts wagering game content for a wagering game. In some examples, a first content controller, associated with the wagering game, is configured to cause the graphics controller to generate the video data. The operations can further include performing a graphical analysis of the video data via a second content controller independent from the first content controller. The operations can further include after performing the graphical analysis, modifying the video data via the second content controller. In some examples modifying the video data modifies an appearance of a first portion of the wagering game content without modifying an appearance of a second portion of the wagering game content.

  • Patent number: 10069295
Abstract: A gaming system includes circuitry and associated methodology for detection of continuity along one or more sensing paths for determination of the presence and proper seating of one or more component boards to each other and a backplane, having an arbitrary number of couplings. The invention controls voltage to one or more components of the gaming system, enabling selective activation of various components, on one or more of the connected boards, based on the proper seating of component boards to each other and a backplane. The invention implements dynamic configuration of sensing paths (defined by signal paths and signal traversal) and subsequent continuity detection through interfacing connector/port pairs, in combination with specifically placed electronic components and local ground connections along the sensing paths, to control powering selective system components based upon a detection of the presence and proper seating of multiple component boards to each other and a backplane.
