Abstract: Bis-oxime compounds of the general formula (I) are provided
wherein X, Y, R1, R2 R3 and n are as defined in the specification. The bis-oxime compounds possess pesticidal activity, which may provide plants with protection from phytopathogenic microorganisms.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a coating composition containing:
A) 25 to 50 wt. % of a polyisocyanate component,
B) 5 to 20% wt. % of one or more polyaspartic acid esters
C) 10 to 30 wt. % of one or more polyaldimines having a number average molecular weight of 112 to 600
D) 0.1 to 5.0 wt. % of an acetal corresponding to formula IV:
E) 0.1 to 5.0 wt. % of castor oil.
F) 0.1 to 10.0 wt. % of an organic solvent,
G) 15 to 35 wt. % of a pigment and
H) 0 to 10 wt. % of a coating additive other than D, F or G,
wherein the sum of the percentages of components A to H is 100. The present invention also relates to the use of this coating composition as an anti-corrosive top coat.

Abstract: A process for insulating pipes comprises applying at least one layer of a polyisocyanurate plastic and then at least one layer of rigid polyurethane foam to a steel pipe. The foam is covered with an outer layer.
Abstract: The invention relates to a new process for the preparation of 1-aminonaphthalene-2,4,7-trisulphonic acid and 1-aminonaphthalene-7-sulphonic acid (1,7-Cleve's acid), in which 1-aminonaphthalene or naphthionic acid is sulphonated selectively in the presence of certain additives to give 1-aminonaphthalene-2,4,7-trisulphonic acid and this is hydrolyzed to 1,7-Cleve's acid by warming in aqueous sulphuric acid.

Abstract: Novel thienooxazines of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, together with the adjacent C atoms, represent an optionally substituted thiophene ring,R.sup.3 represents hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or aryl, andR.sup.4 represents optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or aryl, orR.sup.3 and R.sup.4, together with the adjacent nitrogen atom, form a saturated heterocyclic structure which may optionally contain further hetero atoms, promote the yield of animals, e.g. rate of growth, ratio of meat to fat, etc. They are made from new intermediates of the formulas ##STR2## in which R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 may be hydrogen or various organic radicals, or together form a ring.
