Abstract: A system and method based on the use of a mobile application running on a handheld mobile device that can be manipulated by a user/patient with the result that the data gathered by the application is communicated via a secure link to a computer service in order for evaluation of the user/patient's neurological and physical functioning for purposes of detecting changes in the progression of certain functions to aid in the diagnosis of certain diseases, such as multiple sclerosis and related neurological diseases.
