Abstract: A roof-rack mechanism includes one or more retaining devices attached to a track, and a lock device engaged with the track and the retaining device for detachably attaching the retaining device to the track. The retaining device includes a base member, and a bracket attached to the base member and mounted on the track. The bracket includes a recess formed between two legs for engaging with the track, and the lock device is engaged with the track and the legs of the bracket. The retaining device includes two flaps engaged onto the legs of the bracket and secured to the legs and the track with the lock device. The retaining device includes a cover pivotally attached to the base member with a coupler.

Abstract: A hand pump includes a piston slidably engaged in a housing and coupled to a piston rod, a handle having a compartment for receiving the piston rod at an inwardly folding position and having a guiding passage formed in one of the two end portions of the handle, a stud extended from a middle portion of the handle and having a slot communicating with the passage of the handle for allowing the piston rod to be rotated relative to handle between the inwardly folding position and an outwardly working position where the piston rod is engaged in the stud and perpendicular to the handle, and a control ferrule is attached onto the piston rod for anchoring the piston rod to the housing at the outwardly working position.

Abstract: An air valve connecting device or attachment includes a housing having an inlet barrel, a sliding member slidably engaged in the housing and having an upper portion extendible out of the housing, the sliding member includes a pathway for selectively aligning with the inlet barrel, a catching element is attached to the sliding member, a gasket is engaged in the catching element, and an inflation valve is engageable into the gasket for depressing the gasket and the catching element and the sliding member to engage into the housing and for moving the sliding member out of the housing, and the inflation valve is detachable from the housing by depressing the sliding member into the housing.
