Abstract: An exhaust system component includes stacking features that prevents binding among adjacent components in a stack. The stacking features are arranged along a shell of the exhaust system component, such as along a sidewall extending from a panel of the shell. The stacking features can be arranged to define a gap between opposing surfaces of stacked shells. The stacking features can be in the form of indentations and can be formed in curved portions of the sidewall to conserve material thickness, which can be critical in exhaust system applications. The stacking features can result in a stack of components with uniform spacing among the components of the stack.

Abstract: A wheel ornamentation that can fit vehicle wheels having different offset dimensions. According to one embodiment, the wheel ornamentation is a two-piece wheel cover that includes center and outer components and an adjustable overlapping junction therebetween, where the adjustable overlapping junction may be partially concealed by an annular flange on one of the components. An adhesive portion may be disposed between overlapping axial ends of the components and can be modified during assembly of the ornamentation to a vehicle wheel.

Abstract: A wheel cover for a vehicle with a wheel secured to the vehicle by lug nuts, the wheel cover including a molded wheel cover base adapted to aesthetically cover the vehicle wheel, and a plurality of retainers attached to the wheel cover base. The wheel cover base includes a plurality of protrusions located in positions corresponding to the lug nuts and cylindrically-shaped walls extending around each protrusion creating a cup-shaped space for receiving the retainers.
