Abstract: A trailer comprising a main portion and a dovetail connected to a rear end of the main portion. The dovetail being configured to actuate between a travel position and a load position. The trailer additionally comprises a sled secured to the main portion and configured to actuate between a retracted position and an extended position. The trailer further comprises an actuator for extending and retracting the sled. With the sled in the extended position, the actuator and the sled is configured to maintain the dovetail in the travel position without the use of secondary locking mechanisms.
