    Abstract: Some embodiments include a method of providing security and privacy for a message sender. The method can include a messaging application determining that a messaging interface of the computing device is active and is revealing or about to reveal the electronic message. The messaging application can identify a recipient account of a messaging server system that is associated with the electronic message according to the electronic message or the messaging server system. The messaging application can then monitor a data feed from a sensor of the computing device to detect a biometric pattern that matches against a biometric profile model associated with the recipient account utilizing a biometric recognition process. In response to determining that the detected biometric pattern does not match the biometric profile model associated with the recipient account, the messaging application can activate a privacy shield to prevent content of the electronic message from being revealed.

Personalized contact messages are then embedded within the image as a watermark to with information about the professional, such as an electronic business card, contact information, or hyperlinks to additional information. The sharable image with embedded messages is electronically sent to the patient for sharing with others. Personalized contact messages may also be embedded in non-medical images for sharing with others.

    Abstract: The present invention describes a device and method for touchless palmprint acquisition. The method can be applied to a terminal device (including but not limited to mobile phones, tablet computers and other portable devices) with a display screen and a front-facing camera. The camera is used to capture images of palms. The screen is used as a supplementary light source. When lighting condition in the palm area is undesirable, the screen changes its display to improve the lighting condition inside the palm, which increases the recognizability of the palmprint. The palmprint acquisition device and method described in the present invention can be directly applied to existing terminal devices without requiring any additional hardware. By adopting a variety of ways to change the display of the built-in screen of the terminal device, the lighting condition of the palm area will be improved and the recognizability of the palmprint will be increased.
