Abstract: A lancing device includes a main body and a replaceable lancet. A front cover is detachably mounted to a front end of the main body and formed by a shell and a positioning member connected inside the shell for receiving the lancet. A shock absorber is mounted in between the shell and the positioning member. When the lancet is fired by a built-in percussion unit of the main body to move forward, the front end of the lancet collides with a stop portion of the positioning member, and the lancet stops movement and instantaneously retracts. Meanwhile, most or all of the vibrational energy generated when the front end of the lancet collides with the positioning member can be absorbed by the shock absorber. In this way, the vibration in the process of the blood sampling can be reduced to further minimize the pain felt by the testee.

Abstract: An electrochemical biosensor strip is disclosed in the present invention. The electrochemical biosensor strip includes a substrate, an electrode system and a test reagent. The electrode system is disposed on the substrate and is composed of a hydrophilic carbon layer. The test reagent is laid on the substrate and in contact with a portion of the hydrophilic carbon layer. In such a manner, the test reagent can contact the carbon layer without interference, and the dissolved test reagent, the analyte-containing fluid and the product of the interaction of the test reagent and the analyte, while in use, can spread on the hydrophilic carbon layer spontaneously and uniformly, which makes contribution to a better detection performance.

Abstract: A gas concentration meter includes a meter body having a control circuit and a gas concentration sensor accommodated therein and electrically connected together said control circuit board and a gas passage extending through the gas concentrations sensor, and a fan unit mounted at one side of the meter body and having a fan blade rotatably mounted inside an annular peripheral wall thereof. The gas passage has its one end terminating in an inlet and extends to an inner side of the annular peripheral wall. When a gas flow goes through the fan unit to rotate the fan blade, a part of the gas flow will enter the inlet of the gas passage, enhancing measuring accuracy and shortening the reaction time of the gas concentration sensor. Further, a wind speed sensor may be provided to measure flow velocity.

Abstract: A magnetic field generating seat cushion includes a cushion body, and a magnetic field generator, which is mounted in the cushion body, including a main circuit board, an inner coil and an outer coil. The inner and outer coils are electrically connected to the main circuit board. The main circuit board and the outer coil can generate an alternating current to go through the inner coil, causing the inner coil to generate an alternating magnetic field. In comparison to the outer coil, the inner coil has a high number of turns and a relatively smaller area for generating a high strength magnetic field in a small area with low electricity consumption to intermittently oxygenate the body tissues of a person sitting or lying on the cushion body, thereby generating a massage-like effect and achieving muscle-relaxing, blood-circulating and metabolism-enhancing effects.

Abstract: A pressure detection device for use in an electronic manometer includes a container for receiving a liquid, a first conduit for the air to pass through, and a second conduit for the liquid to flow therein. When the air having the same pressure as that of a pressure transducer is directly or indirectly drawn from the electronic manometer through the first conduit into the container, the liquid in the container flows into the second conduit due to the pressure difference. In this way, get a difference between the liquid level of the second conduit and that of the container and compare the difference with a user's blood pressure measured by the electronic manometer to detect whether the measuring result of the electronic manometer is accurate or not.
