Abstract: A welding system controller for controlling the welding of a workpiece including a switch for selectively applying power to a welding transformer and a controller for controlling the power delivered to the welding transformer by the switch to set the power level of the welding transformer. The controller allows the operator to set the time to reach the set power level, the time the set power level is maintained, and the time to decrease the power level from the set power level to zero.
