Abstract: The field of the invention is that of articles adhesive to the skin for medical or paramedical use. The invention relates to an article adhesive to the skin.
Abstract: Single-component silicone elastomer compositions (SEA) are crosslinkable by polyaddition into self-adhesive state, contain at least one polyorganosiloxane (POS) including sites of ethylenic and/or acetylenic unsaturation {POS containing units ?Si— [unsaturation]}; at least one polyorganosiloxane (POS) containing units ?Si—H; a catalytic system including at least one metal catalyst and at least one crosslinking inhibitor; a filler; at least one adhesion promoter; optionally, at least one POS resin; optionally, at least one thermal resistance agent; and, optionally, at least one other functional additive, and are useful for gluing, assembling, sealing, e.g., joints, coatings, electrical, electronic and automobile engineering parts.
Abstract: Described are organopolysiloxane compositions that are capable of cross-linking and/or of hardening by polyaddition reactions so as to produce elastomers or materials made of silicone. Further described, is how the composition is useful for making a dental impression in the context of preparing prostheses.
Abstract: Thermally-stable silicone elastomers are prepared from organopolysiloxane compositions by polyaddition, polycondensation or vulcanization reactions in the presence of peroxide; the thermal stability of the silicone elastomers is achieved by the inclusion of an additive derived from an iron (III) complex.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-performance silicone elastomer composition that is adhesive and that can be crosslinked at high temperature for the assembly of silicone-based substrates, both by platinum and peroxide catalysis, and that may lend itself to a strip conformation. The composition comprises at least one gum, one catalyst and one adhesion promoter of polyorganohydrogensiloxane type, the nature and the amount of said adhesion promoter having been chosen so that Si—H groups are in excess following the reaction for crosslinking the composition, so as to obtain a potential surface density of covalent Si— bonds with the silicone substrate to be bonded of at least one covalent Si— bond per 60 nm2.
Abstract: The invention relates to compositions in the form of silicone oil emulsions which are intended to be applied to curing bladders as a mold-release agent during tire production.
Abstract: Gels having viscoelastic qualities, physical stability and adhesive properties, well suited for a wide variety of end applications, are prepared by crosslinking, by hydrosilylation, silicone compositions which contain: a polyorganosiloxanes POS (I) of SiH type; a polyorganosiloxanes POS (II) of SiVi type (Vi=vinyl); a polyorganosiloxanes POS (III) of monofunctional SiVi type; a platinum-based catalyst (D); and optionally, a polyorganosiloxanes POS (IV) of polydimethylsiloxane type.

Abstract: A method is described for sealing and assembling, pointing and/or coating a substrate by means of silicon elastomers prepared using silicon compositions that do not contain any metal catalyst such as, for example, tin, and cross-linking by polycondensation reactions in the presence of water (for example, ambient moisture).
Abstract: The invention relates to compositions in the form of silicone oil emulsions which are intended to be applied to curing bladders as a mold-release agent during tire production.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an organopolysiloxane composition that can be vulcanized at room temperature into an elastomer that is crosslinked by polycondensation and that does not contain alkyltin-based catalysts which exhibit toxicity problems. The invention also relates to novel polycondensation catalysts having a guanidine structure, in silicone chemistry, and to the uses thereof as catalysts for the organopolysiloxane polycondensation reaction.
Abstract: A method is described for coating a flexible medium made from fabric, paper, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polypropylene, polyamide, polyethylene, polyurethane, non-woven fibreglass fabrics, or polyethylene terephthalate with a tin-free elastomer silicon composition that can be cross-linked by polycondensation.
Abstract: A method is described for sealing and assembling components of a drive train by means of silicon elastomers prepared using silicon compositions that do not contain any metal catalyst such as, for example, tin, and cross-linking by polycondensation reactions in the presence of water (for example, ambient moisture).
Abstract: A silicone composition is described that includes components having SiH/SiOH group and that can be polymerized/cross-linked by a dehydrocondensation reaction in the presence of a catalyst such as an iron-based complex or salt, requiring a low activation temperature.
Abstract: A silicone composition is described that includes components having SiH/SiOH groupings and that can be polymerized/cross-linked by a dehydrogenative condensation reaction in the presence of a non-metal tri- or tetrasubstituted non-silylated guanidine catalyst and requiring a low activation temperature.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for preparing carbene by means of deprotonation of a precursor salt using a strong base. A purpose of the invention is to enhance the synthesis of carbenes, i.e. to simplify same, to make said synthesis more economical and to obtain a liquid or solid, stable and pure form consitituting a catalytic system that is easy to store and use and that has a higher efficiency, higher yield and higher selectivity than carbene catalysts of the prior art. In order to do so, the method comprises deprotonation in a solvent including an alcohol. The invention also relates to an alcohol-containing solution and carbene, and to a solid that can be obtained from the solution, e.g. by means of sublimation.
