  • Patent number: 7306231
Abstract: A pneumatic prize dispensing system for an arcade game. The game includes a pneumatically-controlled method of suspending and controlling the movement encapsulated prizes within a vertically-oriented transparent tube by means of differential air pressure. A player controls the vertical position of the prize by means of a pneumatic control valve. The object of the game is to control the position of the prize capsule to match a target position zone presented to the contestant via a set of visual cues for a predetermined period of time. The game dispenses the encapsulated prize or alternatively, prize tokens, if the game-winning criteria are achieved.

  • Patent number: 7255641
Abstract: A liquid racing game is described. The game preferably includes a liquid outlet such as a water spout and a vessel to catch a flow of a liquid, such as water, from the spout. A player controls the lateral motion of the vessel by a joystick. The spout moves laterally at speeds and patterns which may be programmed on a control board. The object is to fill the vessel with water from the moving spout. The game is a race to fill the vessel. Coin operated versions are possible which dispense tickets or tokens to redeem for prizes. Operator versions are possible in which an operator starts the race and distributes a prize to the winner. The game may also be played as a video game version.

  • Patent number: 6306041
Abstract: An arcade-style racing game is described. The game preferably includes a gaming surface, an actuator, a first feedback device, a game piece, a steering mechanism, a second feedback device, and a processor. A racing track may be depicted on the gaming surface. An actuator is preferably adapted to rotate the surface about an axis on command. The game piece is preferably positioned substantially adjacent to the surface. The steering mechanism is preferably indirectly connected to the game piece, and it may be adapted to move or rotate the game piece over a predetermined range. With use of the steering mechanism, a game player may position the game piece near the center of the racing track as the surface rotates about the central axis. A player's performance may be determined fractionally by continually determining the rotational position of the track and the lateral position of the game piece.
