Patents Assigned to Bran + Luebbe GmbH
  • Patent number: 6657718
Abstract: A liquid measuring cell for measuring optical properties of liquids, with a measuring chamber (16), which is adjoined on one side by a transparent window (11), and with a reflector (30) disposed on the opposite side of the measuring chamber (16), which reflects the light striking it toward the outside through the measuring chamber (16) and the window (11), is particularly easy to clean and permits favorably reproducible measurements if another transparent window (33) is disposed between the reflector (30) and the measuring chamber (16) and this window (33) adjoins the measuring chamber (16) on the other side.

  • Patent number: 6458267
Abstract: A filter device is described for obtaining a filtered sample of fluid for measuring purposes from a container or tube conduit. The device has a closed fluid circuit including a first filter element 4, a pump conduit having a pump 27 therein, and a second filter element 5 arranged so that a sample of fluid is suctioned from the container or tube conduit via the first filter element 4, through the pump conduit 26, 28 and then back to the container or tube via the second filter element 5 or vice versa. An optical probe 17 for measuring purposes can be arranged within the carrier tube 7.

  • Patent number: 6377343
Abstract: The invention relates to a vessel system for the continuous monitoring of fluids, in particular in industrial processes, preferably by means of NIR spectroscopy, with a vessel that is disposed in a subassembly support and has an inlet opening and outlet opening as well as a beam path directed at the sample chamber. In order to facilitate maintenance, the provision is made that the subassembly support is disposed in a housing with an inlet armature and an outlet armature that pass through the housing, wherein rapidly detachable lines are provided between the inlet and outlet armature of the housing and the inlet and outlet opening of the sample chamber.

  • Patent number: 6271521
Abstract: For optical determination of ingredients of a pourable product by NIR spectroscopy, to attain replicable measurement results, the device provides that the product flows in the direction of gravity; that a valve is disposed in the conduit downstream of the measurement window and a controller is embodied to move the valve to its closed position at least for the duration of measurement. The method is distinguished in that the product flows in the direction of gravity pas a measurement site; is dammed up downstream of the measurement site in such a way that the flow comes to rest at the measurement site; is dammed up in the direction of gravity past a measurement site; is dammed up downstream of the measurement site in such a way that the flow comes to rest at the measurement site; and after the measurement, the product is removed from the stagnant segment.

  • Patent number: 6174144
Abstract: A diaphragm piston pump with n (at least two) pump chambers each defined by a diaphragm, for mounting on a drive mechanism with n pistons, wherein the pump head with the diaphragms, the pump chambers and with covers is placed on the drive mechanism. The pump head is divided into n+l pump head elements which are arranged next to each other in a row in such a way that the respectively second pump head element forms the cover as well as the pump chamber for the previously arranged pump head element on which it is mounted, wherein the diaphragms are braced between the pump head elements and are aligned essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pistons.
