The heating unit is configured to fix the image transferred at the process unit onto the sheet, and to transfer a transfer layer onto an image formed on a sheet overlaid on a multilayer film. The controller unit is capable of operating in a first printing mode in which processes of transferring an image at the process unit, fixing the image at the heating unit, and transferring the transfer layer at the heating unit are executed, and a second printing mode in which processes of transferring an image at the process unit and fixing the image at the heating unit are not executed, and a process of transferring the transfer layer at the heating unit is executed.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a controller that controls a plurality of different types of image processing, register a plurality of objects to be arranged in a matrix form within a particular area of a screen, and controls a user interface to display the plurality of objects arranged in the matrix form within the particular area. The plurality of objects include a first object for controlling image processing associated with the first object, and a second object that is not for controlling any image processing. The controller controls the user interface to display a third object different from the plurality of objects arranged in the matrix form, outside the particular area, and when a first user is authenticated, control the user interface to display a user-authenticated screen including a shared object and a first user object within the particular area but not including a second user object.

Abstract: A medium unit, having a tray, a casing, and a pullback assembly, is provided. The tray stores a roll of medium, in which a continuous medium is rolled. The casing supports the tray detachably attached thereto. The pullback assembly pushes the continuous medium from a lower side to pull a loose end of the continuous medium unrolled from the roll of medium in conjunction with a detaching action to move the tray to detach from the casing in an orthogonal direction intersecting orthogonally with a rotation axis of the roll of medium.

Abstract: A communication device may include: a memory configured to store management information in which, for each of a plurality of OIDs of a MIB, the OID and a setting value are associated with each other; and a controller, wherein the controller may be configured to: receive a setting command which conforms to TCP; write the setting value included in the setting command to the management information in association with the OID included in the setting command; and send a response command which conforms to the TCP. In a case where the setting command including a first OID and a first setting value is received, the controller may be configured to: write the first setting value to the management information in association with the first OID after the response command has been sent, and send the response command before the first setting value is written to the management information.
