  • Publication number: 20090233520
Abstract: A boom assembly for a bucket of a toy vehicle comprises at least one bucket bearer, which is articulated to a frame of the toy vehicle by a first swivel joint, and at least one telescopic support with two telescopic elements, which can be displaced in telescopic manner with respect to one another. One of the telescopic elements is articulated to the bucket bearer by a second swivel joint, the other telescopic element is articulated to the frame by a third swivel joint. Furthermore, at least one latch mechanism is provided, the latch mechanism having a latch body which is provided on one of the telescopic elements, and a counter body which is provided on the bucket bearer. The bodies of the latch mechanism are positioned with respect to one another such that when the bucket bearers are moved from a lowered basic position into a raised position, the latch body comes to rest against the counter body before the raised position is reached, the telescopic support being bent with the production of a bending tension.

  • Patent number: 7008291
Abstract: In a toy vehicle, in particular tractor, comprising at least two steerable wheels, with a pivoting motion of a steering wheel being converted via a steering gear into a pivoting motion of a bolster, with wheels being mounted on steering knuckles that are pivotably mounted on a front axle, and with the pivoting motion that is occasioned by a steering job pivoting steering pivot pins and thus the wheels via a track rod and via steering drop arms, it is provided, with a view to accomplishing the extreme wheel turning found in full size tractors also in a toy vehicle, mechanical conversion being put into practice in as simple and functionally safe a way and at as low a cost as possible, that the front axle is connected to a first end of the bolster; that the steering gear is formed on a second end of the bolster; that the bolster, between the first and the second end, comprises a pivot bearing for a pivoting motion relative to the chassis to be obtained; and that the track rod centrally comprises a pivot bearing

  • Patent number: 5572908
Abstract: A ratchet mechanism for telescope devices on toy vehicles comprises a manually drivable driving gearwheel rotatably positioned on a telescope base body, a rack on the telescopic arm, the rack engaging with the driving gearwheel, and a pawl of ratcheting engagement with a tooth gap of the driving gearwheel for the telescopic arm to be fixed in different positions of displacement on the telescopic base body. The pawl consists of elastically flexible plastics material so that on the one hand it ratchets over the teeth of the driving gearwheel upon actuation of the driving gearwheel for the extraction of the telescopic arm and that on the other hand it is elastically deformable upon actuation of the telescopic arm in the direction of retraction. The pawl then ratchets over the teeth of the driving gearwheel while releasing the telescopic arm in the latter's direction of retraction.
