  • Patent number: 9745026
Abstract: A ladder system for a boat having gunwale tubing comprises a ladder including two side rails and at least one rung transversely disposed across the side rails and a platform having a curved recess and platform surface. The top portion of the ladder is pivotably attached to the side of the platform and extends downward therefrom. The platform is disposed on the gunwale tubing of the boat such that the curved recess of the platform receives and engages the tubing. A stanchion extends laterally from the ladder and includes two support each extending from a corresponding side rail of the ladder. A stanchion pad is disposed at an end of said stanchion disposed between the two stanchion supports, and engages the hull of the boat to prevent twisting of the ladder when it is deployed. The ladder system prevents deformation of the gunwale tubing while providing enhanced stability.

  • Patent number: 8800470
Abstract: A dive door for an inflatable boat configured as a semi-cylindrical body having a planar platform surface and an outer curved surface. The door is hingeably attached to the deck of the boat and is disposed between a first gunwale tubing section and a second gunwale tubing section of the boat. The dive door is selectively operable between a deployed position and a closed position. In the deployed position, the planar platform surface extends outwardly from the boat and the outer curved surface faces downward toward the water. A hydraulic ram may be attached to and disposed between the platform surface and a rigid structure of the boat, whereby the hydraulic ram is translates the door between the deployed position and the closed position. In the closed position, the outer curved surface is coincident with the gunwale tubing such that it appears that the door is integrated into the boat.

  • Patent number: 8516971
Abstract: A system and apparatus for providing modular configurable marine utility vessels which allow for selective arrangement, quick release, and rapid rearrangement of deck components such as the console, seating, military and utility equipment, and accessory items. The vessel includes a plurality of deck modules which form one or more deck platforms. The deck module includes an upper deck section and a lower frame section, the upper deck sections have channels for receiving and interlocking with the lower frame sections. The deck modules also include numerous hardware fittings which form a geometric grid pattern that allows for numerous distinct deck layouts for equipment depending on desired missions or end uses.
