Abstract: A photographic system where a still camera (21) and a video camera (20) are employed to view and photograph an object. The video camera (20) is employed to capture images of an object and each image is combined with a unique code. The still camera (21) produces latent images correspondingly coded and the video images may be printed or displayed on an image printer (23) to enable a selection of desired prints to be made without the need to process the film of the still camera (21) to provide proofs.
