  • Patent number: 4617498
Abstract: The invention relates to a control device for synchronizing a plurality of driving units, the speed thereof controlled by a time-variable desired signal which is common for all units. For each driving unit a positional control means in combination with a speed control means is provided. The positional control means receives a signal for the desired position of the correlated driving unit which signal is produced in an integrating means from the desired speed signal and further receives a signal representing the actual position of the unit. The output signal of the speed control means is added to the desired speed signal modified in an amplifying network. The gain control of the amplifying network is selected such that the transient response of the compensating means is inversely proportional to the transient response of the actuating means and the drive unit. This allows for a high synchronizing accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4521759
Abstract: An activating magnet has a magnet housing (1), a pole element (10) arranged at one end of the magnet housing, a magnetic coil (13) surrounding the magnet housing and the pole element, and a magnet armature (3) movably housed in a magnet housing. An activating spring (20), biased between said magnet armature (3) and the pole element, and an activating member (5) are arranged on the side of the magnet armature opposite the pole element. In order to arrange an emergency manual activation on the magnet, a hand bolt (18), particularly a manually activated hand bolt, is provided on the side opposite the activating member. The hand bolt (18) is connected with the magnet armature to make it possible to exert a tensile force on the magnet armature.

  • Patent number: 4492128
Abstract: A control mechanism includes a control lever extending through an opening in a guide plate into a housing where it is pivotally attached. A frustoconical member is slidably mounted on the lever and spring-urged against the opening, tending to return the lever to a control position. A control plate is attached to the frustoconical member and can operate switch actuators.

  • Patent number: 4484167
Abstract: An activating magnet, particularly a stroke magnet, has a magnet housing (15) which closely surrounds the periphery of the coil (7) and abuts the spool (8) thereof. An armature (1) is arranged within the coil so as to be axially moveable therein, and a pressure-proof junction box (38) is rigidly connected with the magnet housing in which the connections (24) for the coil are located. In order to create a much simpler and more economical construction for a pressure-proof pole tube (3,4,6) on which the coil is arranged. The magnet housing is pressure-proof and abuts the pole tube on both sides of the coil, and a pole core (5) is penetrated by the activating ram (2), whereby the pole core on one side and the magnet housing on the other side are rigidly connected with each other by means of a connecting means (22).

  • Patent number: 4468647
Abstract: An activating magnet having two coaxial pole tube portions which are spaced from each other, have the same inner and outer diameters and are connected with each other by means of a connecting ring of solder. In order to create an activating magnet in which the pole tube portions need only be machined on the outside or inside diameter, a spacing ring of a non-magnetizable material is arranged between the two pole tube portions. The spacing ring is thinner than the two pole tube portions, whereby the connecting ring has the same outside diameter and the spacing ring has the same inside diameter as the pole tube portions, or vice versa. A guide tube of a non-magnetizable material may be provided within the pole tube portions and the spacing ring.

  • Patent number: 4439751
Abstract: An actuating magnet, particularly a direct current electromagnet, has a cylindrical magnetically permeable shell or cover made from a rectangular sheet of metal bent into a square cylinder, the edges of the sheet forming a gap. Pole plates on the ends of the shell have recesses on their edges to receive projections on the shell. The pole plates have recesses in the corners, leaving the corners uncovered to receive fastening screws.

  • Patent number: 4432703
Abstract: An adjusting arrangement for a hydraulic pump with a variable flow quantity, having an operating cylinder located in a neutral position through the intermediary of a positively-acting resetting device, the piston of which is adjustable dependent upon the actual discharge pressure and dependent upon a parameter proportional to the actual discharge flow quantity into a position corresponding to the rated discharge flow quantity with consideration being given to the limiting value for maximum power output, maximum discharge pressure, maximum discharge flow quantity and, as required, the flow direction. An electronic control arrangement receives electrical signals corresponding to the rated discharge flow quantity and the actual discharge flow quantity and the actual pressure, which processes these signals under calculation of the actual power output and the actual pressure, and generates corresponding setting signals for the adjustment of the operating cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4396243
Abstract: A connector for providing electrical connections to a coil in an electromagnetic device includes a support member detechably coupled by detents to the bobbin on which the coil is wound. The support members holds an insulating body which receives plug blades connectable to the coil and to a mating connector portion. A holding member forms the ground prong, is mechanically and electrically fastened to the support member and holder the insulating body therebetween.
