Patents Assigned to C.A.M. Graphics Co., Inc.
  • Patent number: 5818430
Abstract: An touch screen of the voltage-divider type is provided which includes two substrates spaced apart from each other by a gap, each substrate including a region formed of conductive material formed in overlapping relationship to each other. A pair of strips formed from a resistive material is coupled to opposed edges of each conductive region such that the resistance strips of the first substrate extend in a substantially perpendicular direction to the resistance strips of said the second substrate. A circuit is provided which applies a first reference voltage across the resistance strips of the first substrate, and subsequently applies a second reference voltage across the resistance strips of the second substrate.

  • Patent number: 4864084
Abstract: In a membrane-type touch panel including a pair of circuit layers having facing conductive circuit patterns normally separated by spacers defining voids through which regions of the circuit patterns can move to effect actuation, a series of projections are provided which, upon actuation, are adapted to act inwardly upon the outer surface of at least one of the two circuit layers at regions aligned with corresponding voids to reduce the required actuation force or to allow a reduction in the size of the spacer voids to reduce the possibility of false actuations.

  • Patent number: 4816295
Abstract: A method for imparting an apparent finish to the surface of an article, i.e., a method for imparting both a visual and tactile appearance to the surface of an article that the surface itself has been finished using conventional mechanical or chemical techniques. The method includes the steps of preparing a printing screen having certain characteristics by exposing the screen covered with a photographic emulsion to art work illustrating the desired surface finish, locating the printing screen over the article surface to which the apparent finish is to be imparted, pressing a clear UV curable material having certain characteristics through the prepared screen onto the article surface, and substantially immediately curing the deposited material to impart the apparent finish to the surface.
