The application includes an airframe input module that receives an airframe file having a seat having a seat location and a bin having a bin location and a bin dimensions. The application further includes a passenger profile input module that receives a passenger profile file having a list of passenger profiles, a passenger selection module that selects a passenger from the list of passenger profiles and associates the passenger with the seat, a bag selection module that selects a bag profile from a bag profile file and associates it with the passenger, a bag placement module that simulates placing the bag into the bin based on the bin dimensions, bin location, and bag profile, and an output module that outputs and stores a simulation output associating the bag and the bin.

Abstract: A panel assembly that is configured to be secured to a frame that includes a panel having a top and a bottom, a first bracket assembly and a second bracket assembly. The first bracket assembly includes a first pivot member and a first bracket. One of the first bracket and first pivot member is secured to the panel and the other is configured to be secured to the frame. The first bracket includes a slot defined therein that includes a throat and a pivot opening. The throat is defined between first and second throat surfaces and the throat is narrower than the pivot opening. The second bracket assembly includes a second pivot member and a second bracket. One of the second bracket and second pivot member is secured to the panel and the other is configured to be secured to the frame. The second bracket includes a pivot opening.

The first and second attachment portions include first and second attachment members, respectively. The first attachment portion and the first insert member are secured together by a first fastener, and the second attachment portion and the second insert member are secured together by a second fastener.

Abstract: A toilet module attachment assembly that includes a retainer member that is adapted to be secured to a wall. The retainer member includes a wall attachment flange and a press fit portion extending generally inwardly from the wall attachment flange. When the retainer member is secured to a wall a channel is defined between the wall and the press fit portion. The attachment assembly also includes a seal member that includes a bulge portion that is received in the channel of the retainer member.

Abstract: A lavatory monument configured to be positioned in an aircraft interior that includes an enclosure that includes first, second, third and fourth walls, and defines a lavatory interior, a first lavatory compartment that includes a first urinal unit positioned therein, and a second lavatory compartment that includes a second urinal unit positioned therein. The first lavatory compartment includes a first door and the second lavatory compartment includes a second door. A divider wall separates at least a portion of the first lavatory compartment from at least a portion of the second lavatory compartment. The first door is positioned on one of the first or second walls and the second door is positioned on one of the first or third walls.

The lounge assembly also includes first and second seats positioned in the seating area, and a first dividing wall positioned between the first and second seats. The first dividing wall divides the seating area into a first seat section and a second seat section. The front wall includes a shared entrance space defined therein. A first seat path is defined between the shared entrance space and the first seat section and a second seat path is defined between the shared entrance space and the second seat section.

Abstract: A latch system that includes a paddle button assembly having a button that is movable between home and actuation positions, a latch assembly that includes a striker assembly with a striker and a hook assembly, and a cable that extends between the paddle button and latch assembly. The hook assembly includes a hook, a pivotal trigger arm, and a manual override switch that is movable between first and second positions when the trigger arm is moved from an engaged position to a disengaged position. Movement of the button from the home position to the actuation position pushes or pulls the cable, thereby pivoting the trigger arm from the engaged to the disengaged position and disengaging the hook from the striker. Pivotal movement of the trigger arm from the engaged to the disengaged position results in linear movement of the manual override switch from the first to the second position.

When the latch bolt is in the unlatched position it is not received in the latch pocket, the magnetic switch is in the first state and an electrical component is in a first state. When the latch bolt is in the latched position it is received in the latch pocket, the magnetic switch is in the second state and the electrical component is switched to a second state.
