  • Pipeline welding shelter and method of use of the same

    Abstract: A pipeline welding shelter which includes an umbrella-like framework with a support post which supports the umbrella-like framework. Means is provided for maintaining the support post in a substantially vertical orientation when positioned on or adjacent to a pipeline. A flexible heat resistant covering encloses the umbrella-like framework. The covering is capable of withstanding limited exposure to heat from a welding torch without melting or igniting.
