  • Patent number: 6109968
Abstract: A compound type connector comprises an inserting seat, a first connector, a second connector, a housing, and a plurality of positioning legs. In the insulating seat, an upper portion and a lower portion therewithin are formed as a first receiving space and a second receiving space, respectively. The first connector is installed at the first receiving space of the insulating seat. The first connector has a plurality of terminals, and one end of each terminal protrudes out of the insulating seat. The second connector is installed within the second receiving space of the insulating seat. The second connector has a plurality of terminals. One end of each terminal protrudes out of the insulating seat. The housing has at least one shielding surface and housing encloses the insulating seat. Two opposite openings correspondent to the first connector and the second connector, respectively, are installed on the shielding surface. The plurality of positioning legs are assembled to the bottom of the housing.

  • Patent number: 6068509
Abstract: A stacking-type connector comprising mounting plate, a first connector on an upper groove of the mounting plate, a second connector on a lower groove of the mounting plate, a stage comprising a plurality of guiding holes, by penetrating the conductive terminals of the first connector and the second connector through the guiding holes, the stage can be positioned between the first connector and the second connector. The stage placed between the first connector and the second connector has structure concentrating on the central portion of the first guiding hole such that free space can be released on both sides thereof. Moreover, two shoulder plates extends backward from the both sides of the insulating base of the second connector and the length thereof does not exceed the depth of the second connector. Therefore, the space on both sides of the stage can be fully released such that the utilization of circuit board area can be enhanced and the manufacture cost can be reduced with reduced materials.

  • Patent number: 6056594
Abstract: A connector structure comprises a base, a D connector arranged at one portion of the base and a plurality of audio connectors arranged transversely another portion layer of the base, wherein the audio connector comprises a metal frame arranged on the mounting hole of the base, a metal pipe looped with plastic ring having identification color riveted to the metal frame, and a ground plate sandwiched therebetween. The ground plate is firmly arranged between the metal pipe and the metal frame. The contact area between the ground plate and the metal frame is increased and the grounding will not be affected by the disturbance of the ground plate or the ground terminal. Moreover, the ground plate can be rotated with respect to the metal pipe to change the location of the elastic plate such that optimal contact between the elastic plate and the case can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 5989041
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a plurality of right-angled conductive terminals and a two-part terminal housing consisting of a main connector frame and a terminal positioning frame. The main connector frame includes a connector block portion for holding the horizontal contact portions of the conductive terminals, and a pair of parallel support arms that extend downwardly from the connector block portion and that cooperate with the connector block portion to confine an accommodating space for accommodating at least one electrical connector below the connector block portion and in front of the support arms. A guide plate extends between the support arms, and is formed with a plurality of notches to permit the vertical solder tail portions of the conductive terminals to extend downwardly through the guide plate. The terminal positioning frame is formed separately from the main connector frame, and is disposed below the guide plate.
