Abstract: A furniture assembly for compact and efficient packaging including a sofa having component parts connected to define a partially enclosed area, the component parts including a back, a pair of front legs, and a pair of rear legs. The sofa also includes a skirt and a seat, wherein the skirt is hingedly connected to the seat and the seat is hingedly connected to the sofa. The assembly including at least one chair a table, wherein the assembly is arranged such that the at least one chair and the table are located within the partially enclosed area. The seat may be rotated to a storage position generally parallel to the sofa back. In addition, the skirt may be rotated to a storage position generally parallel to the seat.

Abstract: An article of furniture includes a frame and a woven panel forming at least one of a seat portion and a backrest portion having an exposed outer surface. The woven panel includes a plurality of synthetic polymer yarns attached to the frame forming interstices within the woven panel. A wash is adhered to at least a portion of the exposed outer surface of the woven panel and within the interstices. A plurality of the yarns within the woven panel is bonded together by the wash within the interstices.
