Patent number: 7090457Abstract: A portable lift (10) for installing and uninstalling computer-related equipment (12) into a storage cabinet (14) broadly comprises a frame (16) operable to be removably secured to the storage cabinet (14); a trolley (18) for supporting the computer-related equipment (12); and a winch assembly (20). The frame (16) is operable to fold into a plurality of portions (28,30,32) for easy storage within a carrying unit (22). The trolley (18) includes a tray (126) on which the computer-related equipment (12) may be placed. The winch assembly (20) includes a winch (166), a plurality of pulleys (168,170,172), and a plurality of cable portions (180,182,184) that in operation are operable to vertically move the tray (126) within the frame (16) for positioning of the equipment (12) in the storage cabinet (14). The portable lift (10) is lightweight, easy-to-use, and may be assembled and disassembled by one user.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2003Date of Patent: August 15, 2006Assignee: Celeritas TechnologiesInventor: Tony Martin

Publication number: 20030083073Abstract: A geographic management system (GMS) comprises a web server, a database server, and a map server. A user browser connected to the GMS transmits a search criteria to the web server. The web server transmits the search criteria to the map server. The map server geocodes the search criteria, obtains network data and geospatial data from the database server corresponding to the geocode, and transmits the geocode, the network data, and the geospatial data to the web server. The web server transmits the geocode, the network data, and the geospatial data to the user browser. The network data and the geospatial data are displayed on the user browser as a map displaying network elements of a telecommunication network relative to other network elements, geographic elements, and customers.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 1, 2001Publication date: May 1, 2003Applicant: Celeritas Technologies, L.L.C.Inventors: Robert N. Cossins, Scott A. Evans

A user browser connected to the GNMS transmits a search criteria to the web server. The web server transmits the search criteria to the map server. The map server geocodes the search criteria, obtains network data and geospatial data from the database server corresponding to the geocode, and transmits the geocode, the network data, and the geospatial data to the web server. The network data and the geospatial data are displayed on the user browser as a map displaying network elements of a telecommunication network relative to other network elements, geographic elements, and customers. One or more of the network elements have associated performance elements that display performance characteristics that signify performance attributes associated with the network element.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 1999Date of Patent: January 29, 2002Assignee: Celeritas Technologies, L.L.C.Inventors: Robert N. Patent number: 5533048Abstract: A system and method for reducing amplitude distortion in data signals transmitted via cellular analog communication systems are embodied in several forms. In one embodiment, pre-emphasis and de-emphasis functions of the cellular system are offset by complementary de-emphasis and post-emphasis circuits to preclude clipping of high frequency components of the data signal by the limiter. Alternatively, the limiter circuit is selectively bypassed when a data signal is transmitted. Alternatively, a pilot tone is combined with the incoming data signal. The amplitude of the pilot tone is constant and always sets the gain of the limiter, thereby keeping the gain of the limiter circuit constant. Alternatively, a pair of signals at different frequencies are transmitted on a telephone line, and the relative amplitudes of the return echoes are measured to determine the frequency roll-off of the line and adjust the spectral shaping accordingly.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 1994Date of Patent: July 2, 1996Assignee: Celeritas Technologies, Ltd.Inventor: Michael G. Patent number: 5507033Abstract: A system and method for reducing amplitude distortion in a data signal transmitted through a cellular analog communication system is embodied in several forms. Each specific embodiment of the invention eliminates distortion caused by clipping or sluggish recovery time induced by a limiter circuit which exists in conventional cellular communication systems. In one embodiment, pre-emphasis and de-emphasis functions of the cellular system are offset by complementary de-emphasis and post-emphasis circuits so that the high frequency components of the data signal are not clipped by the limiter. In another embodiment, the limiter circuit is bypassed selectively when a data signal is transmitted. In an alternative embodiment, a pilot tone is combined with the incoming data signal. The characteristics of the pilot tone are such that amplitude of the pilot tone is constant and always sets the gain of the limiter, thereby keeping the gain of the limiter circuit constant.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 1993Date of Patent: April 9, 1996Assignee: Celeritas Technologies, Ltd.Inventor: Michael G.
