Abstract: A system is provided for providing content including one or more interactive components to a wireless device. The system includes a content server configurable to deliver push content to the wireless device, a processor for controlling operation of the server, a communications subsystem for communicating with a communications network, and a memory. The content server includes one or more modules for providing the content to the wireless device, the module(s) being configured to cause the content server to: receive a content file including the content and information about the interactive component(s), the information about each individual interactive component comprising one or more attributes useful in rendering the individual interactive component; process the content file and package the processed content file as a content package for delivery to the wireless device; and send the content package to the wireless device as a push delivery.

Abstract: Methods, communications networks and systems for synchronizing content delivery to a plurality of delivery devices of a user. The delivery devices include at least one computer connected to internet and at least one mobile device. The method comprises retrieving profile data concerning the plurality of delivery devices of the user; sending an invitation to deliver content to the plurality of delivery devices of the user; receiving at least two responses to the invitation, for each response received: identifying a responding delivery device of the plurality of delivery devices from which the response is received using the profile data; retrieving a platform type of the responding delivery device accepting the invitation; and retrieving and providing a delivery version of the content in a delivery format acceptable for the platform of the responding delivery device.

Abstract: A method allows for content that exceeds the maximum size limit imposed by mobile infrastructures to be delivered to mobile devices. To accomplish this, the application splits large files into smaller chunks of data and sends the individual chunks to the mobile device, reassembling them on the device.

Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus for managing push data transfers is provided whereby in one implementation at least one push data server is situated on a network between a plurality of content servers and a plurality of computing devices. The push data server is configured to only perform a maximum number of concurrent data transfers of content between the content servers and the plurality of computing devices. The push data server is configured to deem that a particular push data transfer has been completed even if no express acknowledgment of such completion is ever received at the push data server, thereby reducing the likelihood of failure of push data transfers due to a misperception that the maximum number of concurrent data transfers being obtained.

Abstract: A method to a method, system and apparatus for configuring a device for interaction with a server is provided. An intermediation infrastructure mediates registration traffic between any of a plurality of application servers hosting a server-side application and any of a plurality of computing devices executing a client-side application that corresponds to the server-side application. The intermediation infrastructure receives account registration information, including an account identifier and a server identifier, from an application server that is hosting an account. Any one of the computing devices can access the intermediation infrastructure using the account identifier and thereby determine the server identifier and thereafter direct communications with the application server can be effected.

Abstract: A solution is provided to current mobile content delivery problems which allows an author to create and automatically deliver slideshow or presentation application content from the slideshow or presentation application to a selected user's mobile device. No end-user intervention to deliver the slideshow or presentation application content is required. The content is automatically saved directly to the end-user's mobile device and is rendered using the mobile device's mobile content player.

Abstract: A system is provided for delivering push content to a wireless device. The system includes a central storage device, a push content delivery component, and a transfer protocol delivery component. The central storage device stores push content to be delivered to the wireless device. The push content delivery component generates a manifest identification (ID) of content to be delivered to the wireless device and delivers the manifest ID to the wireless device in a communication. The delivery component includes the central storage device and is connected to the push content delivery component. The delivery component delivers the manifest to the wireless device upon receipt of the manifest ID from the wireless device and delivers to the wireless device the content identified in the manifest upon request from the wireless device.
