Patents Assigned to Challenge Printing Company
  • Patent number: 11618274
Abstract: A brochure is made by folding a single sheet of paper along a plurality of parallel longitudinal fold lines to make an interim piece. The interim piece is conveyed in the direction of the longitudinal fold lines, and folded in a right-angle direction transverse to the first direction, along transverse fold lines perpendicular to the longitudinal fold lines. A pouch is placed inside of the interim piece without adhesive, as the interim piece is folded, and the interim piece is sealed to complete the brochure. The pouch is preferably placed over one of the transverse fold lines. A label can be applied to the brochure if desired.

  • Patent number: 8777013
Abstract: A package for pharmaceuticals such as contraceptives has a mold having a plurality of indentations arranged in a predetermined manner. The indentations are arranged in four circular patterns, each pattern being located in one of four quadrants defined by internal perforated boundaries. A lidding cover is adhered to the mold. The lidding cover has printed material that identifies the locations of the indentations and the internal perforated boundaries of the four quadrants.

  • Patent number: 5958536
Abstract: A self-adhesive label for a bottle, such as a pharmaceutical stock bottle, comprises an adhesive layer and a release-liner. An adhesive section and a detachable section are die cut into the adhesive layer. The adhesive and detachable sections are removably attached to a release-liner which is coated with a non-stick composition. The detachable section is superimposed on a portion of the release-liner which is larger than the detachable section but smaller than the adhesive section. When the adhesive layer is separated from the release liner and adhered to a first surface, the detachable section of the adhesive layer remains under the detachable section. The first surface may be a pharmacist's stock bottle. Thus, the detachable section (e.g., a sticker containing useful information for a patient) may be detached from the balance of the label and adhered to second surface, such as the surface of a patient's bottle.

  • Patent number: 5056827
Abstract: A label for a pharmaceutical bottle is disclosed. Illustratively, the label comprises four sections. There is a first end-section having adhesive on its rear surface for adhering to the bottle. A second end-section spaced apart from the first end-section also has an adhesive rear surface for adhering to the bottle. A third relatively wide section is attached to the second end-section by means of a first perforation. A fourth relatively narrow section is attached between the first end-section and the third section by means of second and third perforations respectively. The fourth section includes a tab so that it can be easily removed by tearing along the second and third perforations. This permits the third section to be removed easily by tearing only along the first perforation.
