  • Patent number: 11428509
Abstract: Provided is a target support stand having a base comprising a pair of leg units with body portions situated substantially parallel to each other. Each body portion includes a first pair of corresponding fastener openings. A socket plate has a socket notch extending to an edge thereof and a second pair of fastener openings corresponding in position with the first pairs of fastener openings in the body portions. A separable upright support member has a tab portion sized to be received by the socket notch. The socket plate being clamped between leg units of the base by fasteners extending through the first fastener openings in the body portions and the second fastener openings in the socket plate to define at least one socket for removably receiving the tab portion of the upright support member in the socket notch between body portions.

  • Patent number: 10168129
Abstract: The invention is a pivot support assembly for a bullet impact target. It includes a first plate and a second plate, the second plate having a pair of spaced-apart elongated slots formed therein. A pair of pivot support plates each have an extension portion sized to extend through one of the elongated slots and a base portion sized not to fit through the slot. Each of the extension portions including a pivot axis means. A clamp means secures the first and second plates together in a substantially parallel relationship. The extension portions of the pivot support plates are positioned through the slots such that the pivot axis means of each are substantially axially aligned with each other, the base portion is clamped between the first and second plates, and a bullet resistant target plate is supported for pivotal movement on the pivot axis means.

  • Publication number: 20170336179
Abstract: Disclosed is a bullet target having a front bullet-resistant impact panel with at least one target aperture therein and a rear bullet-resistant impact panel having a portion aligned with the aperture such that a bullet passing through the aperture will strike the portion. The portion produces a first audible response upon impact of a bullet therewith and the first audible response is distinguishable from any other audible response produced by the front panel upon impact by another bullet. Also disclosed is a method of signifying impact of a bullet with one of the two target panels. A bullet projected through the aperture onto the second panel produces a first audible response and projecting another bullet onto the first panel produces a second audible response differing from said first audible response. A different score may be assigned to each of the first and second audible responses.

  • Patent number: 8534672
Abstract: Describe herein is a target apparatus that includes a base with a flat surface and a rocker assembly. The rocker assembly includes a curved surface operatively disposed in rolling engagement with the flat surface. The rocker assembly also includes a target support that is configured for supporting a target thereon. The rocker assembly rolls on the flat surface in a first direction between an upright position and a lowered position. The rocker assembly has a weight sufficient to return the rocker assembly to the upright position from the lowered position. The target apparatus may be configured such that a target mounted on the target support moves in a direction toward or away from the front of the target apparatus or in a direction perpendicular to a direction that runs from the back of the target apparatus to the front of the target apparatus.
