The cylinder is supported on a support structure and pivotably connected thereto and to the dump bed. The stabilizer includes a retainer extending at least partially around the cylinder and having arms extending downwardly from the retainer and outwardly from the cylinder. The stabilizer constrains the cylinder laterally, at least partially absorbing side loads imposed on the cylinder.
